Babies should always be placed in a car seat when they are traveling in a vehicle.  I was with my daughter when her baby was born, and she was a tiny little peanut.  They had to induce labor and our baby was born three weeks early and weighed just over six pounds.  She wore preemie sized clothing, and she seemed to swim in a regular sized car seat. Our poor little baby girl was flopping around in her car seat, so we rolled up a receiving blanket and placed it around her head.  I wasn't really comfortable doing this as the blanket would shift on us.  Then my daughter and I found the Snuzzler at the Burlington Coat Factory, and it was one of the most useful baby items ever! This is made of a nice soft fleece fabric, and the Snuzzler is a complete piece that fits into a car seat,  It has legs of sorts and sides that go up and around baby.  The top is a rounded head support that helped keep our baby feeling snuggly and secure.  It is made of washable polyester and can be used in other baby items other than a car seat, such as a stroller, bouncy seat, swing, etc.  The Snuzzler didn't shift around because our baby was sitting right inside of it!  It's padded sides hugged her when she was in the car seat, keeping her body stable.  We absolutely LOVE the Snuzzler, and this would make one amazing shower gift!  Highly recommended.

I bought the Snuzzler specifically for use in our stroller (Maclaren Triumph). The Triumph can be used with infants as young as three months.  Our little peanut was born six weeks early, so she is a small little thing at three monthes (in the three percentile).  I wanted to her to be supported while using our new stroller.  I searched high and low for something that would provider her with full body support, rather than just head/neck support.  The Snuzzler was our answer. I couldn't wait to bring it home and give it a try.  Sure enough our little girl looked like she belongs in her new stroller.  She is supported on all sides.  The side cutioning is great so she is not sliding to the right or left.  The head/neck support looks comfortable (almost more comfortable than the neck support that is currantly in her car seat...we may have to do a switch).  I can feel comfortable putting my sweet little girl in the stroller knowing she is fully supported. It also seems to wash well.  Velcro can sometimes do a number on a product, but this stayed attached and held up well.  The top is sort of like a towel-like material...not sure how this will stand up over several washings.

I love the summer infant velboa snuzzler head and body support is a great product especially for premature babies. My baby was born premature and fit really small in her car seat. I loved this product so much that I bought 3 of them and use them in car seat, strollers they support my baby's every need and is very safe to use. I bought them in two different colors one in pink and white, the other ones in black and white. I recommend this product for premature babies because it supports their little heads and little body's also by adding comfort. This product was recommended by the nurse inside the NICU hospital when in time for my daughters releasing date. I love it because my baby does not look like she is sinking in the car seat or stroller and it props her up to be able to see around her, especially when we take walks in her stroller she loves to look at everything in sight especially when we go to the mall

The Snuzzler is a nice product to have for little babies who can't hold their heads up well yet.  It's not just a headrest like some competing products -- it provides support for the whole body, so in my experience it works more effectively at keeping the head from flopping.  I use it in the baby swing to provide a little extra support and keep my baby's head from flopping around.  It's also nice for stroller walks for the same reason. It's really easy to use, you just velcro the two pieces together and place it in the device you are using it with. You can adjust it slightly by moving the two pieces closer or farther apart so that it can grow with your baby for a while.  It's tempting to use it in the carseat.  However, it is not approved for use in carseats as it can interfere with the fit of the carseat straps, so it is not considered safe for this purpose.  There's no real use for it once your baby can hold his head up well, but it's nice to have even for that limited time if you use the swing or stroller a lot.

My daughter was a large baby. Even so, she just didn't fit in her convertible car seat when she was first born, even though it supposedly started at 5 lbs. This Snuzzler kept her from moving around. The one I had was the Kiddopotamus Snuzzler. I've read reviews that say it makes the car seat unsafe, and I completely disagree! This didn't make the straps wider, it made them closer. Before the snuzzler, she could move from side to side. Once we put it in, it kept her nice and still. We used this in the stroller, car seat and swing. Things I liked about this: Washable, Comfortable, Easy to Install, Adds Support, Moves easily between stroller, swing, and car seat, the head part is detachable Things I didn't like about this: Some people say they aren't safe. I think this depends on your car seat and how your baby fits. I also think this is just the car seat manufacturers trying to decrease their own liability. I do have one real complaint though. I wish they came in more colors.

When pregnant with my third child I received the snuzzler as a gift. I had used other head support and head rest products with my past children and was anxious to use the snuzzler. I fell in love. It wasn't just the most soft and relaxing feeling material on the product, but it worked great. It kept not only my daughters head supported, it fit around her body to extra comfort and support. This product was easy to place in the infant seat. It was easy to position my baby into the snuzzler. It was a easy product to remove and clean. I loved that it was reversible and we could just flip it over if we were out and had an accident on one side. The only downfall of this product I found was that my daughter seemed to out grow it faster than others I had tried in the past. The head support area was not as deep pocketed as some head supports so after awhile it got to were she could move her head and it would not stay in the pocketed section. But I highly recommend this product. It was one of my favorite baby items with my daughter!

I am a grandmother of a 14 month old who I have had since birth. I wish the Snuzzler was available when my children where born.  It is the best product out there for infants, I used it everywhere, the carseat, the swing, the infant seat and most in the crib when Gabrielle was born, she loved it, would not sleep without it under her, I think it made her feel secure. This item is sold separately and made to be used in an infant carseat.  This item is very unsafe.  The only carseat supports that are safe are the ones that are in the carseat from the manufacturer.  These widen the shoulder straps to the point that the infant could actually slip through the straps in an accident.  Please be very aware of this.  We tell all of our new parents, especially parents of premies.

With our newborn and a 18 month old, we bought a Maclaren Twin Techno which claims to support children as newborns. However, the headrest and support gear for a newborn was just too large for our little 7.5 lb girl. The snuzzler came highly reccomended from friends to give that added comfort and protection for your kid on the go, so we tried it out and it works great. First, its so soft that you will want one yourself for your seat. Many of our friends who have used it says it only works for the first 3-6 months of your newborns life. After that, they suggest you can use some pieces but not all of the Snuzzler.The Snuzzler is easy to install. However, many local experts such as the nurses at our hospital, the person at the hospital who installs/checks car seats, and the local firemen all say that installing such a device is not safe for the children since the car seat manufacturer does not account for it in their crash tests. The maker of the Snuzzler says it is crash tested, but one would wonder if they tried your car seat. They claim that there is no padding in the back so it doesn't interfere with safety.Overall, if you are looking to use something like a stroller with a newborn like we are, the Snuzzler is great. If you are planning to use it in the car seat, you need to think again about the safety issues. We bought it with the sole purpose of using it in the stroller and like it.******************************************************We tried the Snuzzler in our Peg Perego car seat to help with the issues we have in it ([see that car seat review][1] ) and there was no way you could get it to fit in that car seat. It pushed my daughter forward too much. I included a picture. But, I think it has to do with the already existing and unremovable head support in the car seat.
