Makes lips happy!

5

Great product always on my bed side table. It has a nice smell that is not overpowering. Even though it can be a little pricey, the product lasts a while, so you get your money's worth. Goes on smooth and easily and keeps lips moisturized while you sleep without being greasy. Plus, the tin is just so cute.

Multi Use & Long Lasting

5

I have been buying this product for years and recommend it to people all of the time. I use it daily as a lip balm, but it can also be used on chapped skin. In the winter, I put it on and around my nose when I have a cold and it takes care of any dryness.

Best lip balm - I've used it for years!

I've used Rosebud Salve for years.  It doesn't end up drying out lips like many so-called lip balms do.  I don't like fancy, glittery, scented lip balms - I save the shimmer for lipstick.  It's so simple that my husband likes it too.  I put it on every night before I go to bed.  It's great for regular conditioning and for chapped lips in the wind and cold.

Fantastic-Rosebud Lip Salve is a Miracle Worker

I first tried Rosebud Lip Salve eight years ago and it's been a beauty staple in my cosmetics bag ever since, even on days when I don't bother with makeup.  Simply packaged in a pretty tin that keeps it fresh to the last swipe this stuff works wonders in the moisturizing department, better than any chapstick or gloss that I've tried.  My three year old daughter takes a swipe every time she comes into my bathroom and it's really helped her chapped lips which can be fairly brutal during the long Minnesotan winters.  It's also very affordable which is important to me.  I love buying these for gifts and slipping them into care packages for my buddies-it's just as appropriate for the 98 year old woman I sponsor as it is for the 9 year old boy.  If you like Carmex I suggest making the switch-at equitable pricing Rosebud has prettier packaging and no medicinal odor to leave you smelling like an old woman or medicine cabinet.

Best all-around product Smith's Salve

If I could only have one product on a deserted island it would be this one. It is great for hair, skin, lips and nails. It even gives your cheeks and eyelids a gloss glow with a sweet smell. The rose tint is perfect. This is my favorite product, ever.

Love Smith's Rosebut salve lips, cuticles, etc!

This is great stuff. The first time I bought it was on a whim. I was standing in line at Anthropologie and I saw it there and was intrigued. I wasn't sure what I was going to use it for other than a lip balm and the packaging didn't really give any clues. And while I do mainly use it on my lips, I have found several other uses for it. I use it on my cuticles to moisturize and I have even used it (sorry if TMI) inside and just on the under/outside of my nose when it gets dry in the winter. It has a nice faint, pleasant scent to it and works well for everything I have used it for. I have also used it in a pinch on my hands as a moisturizer when I don't have anything else, but it is a little expensive for that. A random final use is as a distraction for my kids. Something about the size is perfect and they find it irresistable and the lid is just difficult enough to get off that they can't open it :) Bonus!

Rosebud Salve is awsome

This stuff smells great and I love the classic looking tin. I wish they had smaller tins because I do not know if there is bacterial build up especially since you use your fingers to use the product. I have thought about wiping the top part with rubbing alcohol, I wonder if someone else has tried that. I will have to look that up later. I love using this on my lips but I do not like touching it before I apply to my lips. I have to use my fingers to get the product out, put it on my lips, then wash my hands because the salve is a bit greasy. It would be great if they made this into a stick. I guess they do make it into a tube but no a stick which I guess is close enough to not having to touch it just in case my hands are not clean but need to apply some salve to my lips. I love how there are many uses for this product, such as diaper rash, blemishes, rough cuticles, chapped skin and all sort of other uses. Once I finish using this, which I do not think that is anytime soon since I do not use it very often but when I am done using this, I will reuse the tin and put something in it.

this salve has a blend of essential oils that nobody knows what they are because it is a registered company secret blend. they say you can put this over blemishes to help them heal but then again who knows if they have tea tree oil in this salve or not. i use this on my lips and i just take a little bit and really work it into my lips to make them super soft. since this salve is tinted, you can also use it as a cream blush and it smells great also. if you have any blemishes, or spots, you can put a little bit of this on the spot and then put a powder concealer over it to help the concealer stick or anything other powder face product. you can use this on your cuticles to moisturize them and to also prevent nail polish for catching on your skin you can use this on really dry skin spots like knees and elbows. I think you c an pretty much use this on any spot you can use vaseline.  This is just like vaselline but less greasy and with essential oils

lots of uses for this handy tin

I read about **Smith's Rosebud Salve in many beauty magazines, everyone seemed to list it as their go-to, must-have beauty product, so I decided to give it a try. It goes on your lips soft, and lasts a reasonable amount of time. Being a lover of all lip "Stuff", this is definitely one of my favorites.** **It comes packaged in a nice little tin, flat, fits nicely in your palm. One package will last a long time, even with consistent use. After reading the packaging, I learned that you can use it for lots of different applications, including chapped skin, diaper rash, blemishes, burns, and as a hand cream.** **I tried it on my cuticles, which were dry and ragged with all of this awful winter weather and it worked just as beautifully as it did on my chapped lips. My cuticles were soft, supple, and much better than they were. Again, the results were long lasting and it did not leave my fingers either greasy or sticky. **

Smith's Rosebud Salve

This is a really good quality lip balm - but I honestly prefer the strawberry flavor. It has a different texture than the original, and is really more specifically a lip balm than the original salve. However, any multi-purpose effects that may be lost is more than made up for in excellence in that one purpose. I carry mine in my purse all the time, and it never ever runs out. I was just joking the other day that I can't even remember what year I actually bought it. The tin shuts tightly, and while is never difficult to open, also never leaks like so many other lip products can. The only incident I've ever had with mine was leaving it in my parked car in the Florida sun for several hours, & even that only left it unusable - the meltage stayed contained. It gives a good shine, but the soothing, smoothing, de-chapping effects are really what matters here. Also, if my boyfriend had his way, I'd only ever wear this. Not only does it taste *good*, but also significantly *better* than most other lip glosses or lipsticks.
