I purchased the Simmons Beautyrest Sky Rise Express Air Bed with Pump when my grand daughters came to visit. My old mattress had bit the dust and I couldn't find a replacement when I went shopping. I tried to find one similar to my old one which was a raised bed mattress, had a velour top and came with an electric pump. The Simmons Beautyrest Sky Rise Express Air Bed with Pump was all that and more. I chose a full size mattress this time and appreciated the extra floor space. The mattress was easy to inflate. I simply attached the adapter securely to the plug and it filled quickly. The mattress has a built in pillow (surprise!) that we discovered when blowing it up for the first time. The 15 inch depth accommodated my full size sheets and made the mattress seem more like a real bed. When it was time to deflate the mattress I simply attached the correct adapter to the plug, turned it on and watched as the pump sucked the air out of the mattress. I did have to hold the mattress away from the plug as it deflated because the folding side obstructed the air passage but it wasn't a big deal. Once deflated, the mattress easily fit in the stowaway bag with room to spare for sheets, the pump and mattress paperwork. Firmness The mattress was firm and extremely comfortable. Durability Unfortunately, the mattress only lasted four uses before developing a small leak that leaves the mattress half flat by morning.
