I am so glad that I found Silk Elements Mega Cholesterol Conditioning Treatment. I bought mine from my local beauty supply store and it's wonderful ! I have the 20 oz jar which lasts me a really long time. It's easily spreadable (if that makes sense) and after about ten minutes my hair feels really soft and silky. The slip that it gives me is amazing ! When using this, the comb glides right through my hair. I use this about twice a month on average. My routine when I am using this is: pre-shampoo treatment, shampoo, and I use this as my deep conditioner with a plastic cap for as long as I can stand it (usually about an hour or two, but anywhere beyond 30 minutes is fine). I comb this through my hair with a wide tooth comb and then rinse out with cool water. I recommend this for anyone with type 4 African American hair, curly hair, or anyone with dry, chemically treated, or damaged hair.
