The paint itself is fine but the container is very poor quality. Today, I tried to open a can I bought and used three years ago for some touch ups only to find the entire inner part of the rim had rusted away. I was able to salvage some of the paint but the can is a total loss. Quality The paint is fine, the can is very poor quality.

Sherwin Williams Promar 200 Paint Although I may not be an expert on interior painting I have been painting around my house for several weeks now.  I have painted the laundry room, bedroom, formal dining room, breakfast room, bathroom, hallway and living room.  The Sherwin Williams Promar 200 paint is by far the best paint I have ever used.  It is economical, and comes in a full gallon unlike some other paints that aren't a full gallon. The paint spreads easily without a lot of runs and drips.  This is a fairly fast drying paint, as it is dry to the touch in most areas in less than thirty minutes.  Clean up is a breeze, I just had to use water.  And the odor dissipates almost immediately, so you can paint anytime year and not have to worry about having windows open. After the paint has fully cured it is quite durable.  I have young sons and as anyone with youngsters in the house knows, kids are very hard on painted walls. I would recommend this to anyone.

 My wife & I had a problem with wall coverings in our master bedroom. We were trying to cover a HOT PINK color on our wall's , after two coats of another brand of paint,which did not hide the hot pink we went to our local Sherwin Williams paint store for help. The store associate after explaing our problem suggested a product called PRO-MAR 200 low sheen,  in a attempt to cover the wall's.Well this product did just what we wanted it to do. In conclussion thanks Sherwin Williams for a great product, and for having knowledgeable sales staff.

We bought this paint to cover all of the walls in our new condo.  I was very dissapointed on how this paint went on and covered the walls.  We had to do up to three coasts in most rooms.  The flat paint that we got for the ceilings was the worse coverage. One of the paint cans we bought was mixed very poorly.  It was a gray color and had blue streaks all through the paint and on the sides of the can.  We tried to mix it as well as possible, but you can tell where that can was applied on the walls. We paid a good amount of money for this paint and I ceratinly expected more.  I have painted with other brands in the past and have never had to apply more than two coats.  One positive thing I have to say, is that the colors look nice and were fairly true to what we wanted ( aside from the gray can). I would not recommend this paint to anyone who is looking to minimize cost and labor.  I feel as though the time and extra money we had to spend was a rip off.  I am not a happy customer!

Promar 200 definitely required two coats in my bedroom, which was originally white (easy cover up). That compares with Valspar ultra premium that did a similar bedroom in one coat. No big Valspar fan--had cans not consistently tinted--but in my experience the Valspar was a better buy both in cost and quality.

I was very surprised to find that I needed only one coat of this paint to cover my walls. I usually use other brands and found this better in quality. The color on the sample matches exactly to the color I painted my living room. It is very easy to clean up. Comes out of the brush and roller without leaving a residue. After a week went by my some ran into the wall and spllied juice. The juice came right off with no discoloration to the paint. So I am guessing this is a very durable paint.

I went into a Sherwin Williams store after having a bad paint experience with a "big box" store.  They suggested Pro Mar 200 Eg Shell to complete my kitchen project.  The paint covered in one coat except for where I tried to keep using the roller til the paint went out!  I ended up only needing 1 gallon to complete the job. I got two gallons from another store, and the second didn't match the first.  I opened the can from Sherwin Williams and the paint was so much thicker, and the right color the first time.

I change paint colors regularly!  More than anyone, my husband says.  I always use Sherwin Williams Promar 200 for all of my paint jobs!  It has great coverage and goes on very smoothly.  Not to mention they have such a wide variety of colors in their huge color displays.  One of the big things I always considered when painting and trying to find a paint I like is..."how does this paint feel when applying it?".  I hate painting with a paint that feels too thick or too runny, or that feels like chalk when rolling or cutting in.  I never have this problem with the Promar 200!  As usual, I always come out with a beautiful smooth finish every time!  The price on this paint is very comparable to all of your other paints.  You may even catch it on sale.  So if you have some plans to paint in the near future, watch for the sales at your local Sherwin Williams.  You will not be disappointed in any of their products!
