This is the only wet cat food my cat can tolerate. He used to vomit regularly with other kinds. The vomiting stopped when I started giving him only Sheba!

I received coupons for this brand so we tried it. All four of my cats love it and come running when they hear the can open. I have a cat who is a very picky eater and he has not turned his nose up at any of their food. Quality of Ingredients It's not a premium brand, however for the price I'm very satisfied. I had low expectations for Sheba Premium Pates Canned Cat Food. Last week I saw the beef flavor at Petsmart for only .50 a can. I decided I might as well see if my cat likes it, for such a low price. She is generally a fussy eater so I was not hopeful. My assumptions were wrong. She LOVES this stuff. I do not give my cat wet food very frequently. She gets wet food as a treat maybe once a week. The second I opened this can she was at the bottom of my feet meowing. Usually she does not pay me any mind when I am opening up the can. I put it on a plate for her and she ate it obnoxiously fast while also making a mess. My fussy girl really liked this food! I gave it to her again tonight and she had the same excited reaction. I have no idea what is in this food but it must be good! I have no idea what they put in this food but my fussy eater loves it. I am so glad she likes such a low priced canned cat food now! The name says it all: "Premium cat food". I have recently started feeding canned food to our adult cat. My first choice was Sheba because it was on sale and I had some coupons. Well, he loved it. I mean what cat doesn't like canned food? Especially when it smells so appealing. I feed him only about half a can a day, divided into 2 meals. Every time I open the fridge, he knows it's time for his treats so he meows pretty much continuously until I warm up his food. I have given him the cold pate a few times, but by heating it up, it releases that good smell and I assume it's also better for him. I just microwave it for a few seconds and it's good to go. The food smells very close to one of my favorite foods, liver pate. I can't say anything about the taste, since I haven't tried it yet :) First ingredients in Beef Entree are Beef, Meat Broth, Meat By-Products, Chicken Liver, Beef Liver, Chicken. That is way better than ingredients in most dry cat food products. It also contains fish oil, folic acid, vitamin B1, vitamin E supplement among other ingredients. If your cat is on a dry-food only diet, make sure he/she drinks enough water. If he eats canned food, he will take some of the water from the food. In my understanding, it is perfectly fine if you alternate flavors and even brands when it comes to canned food, so at this time, I only purchase Sheba and Purina One Smartblend. Sheba is more creamy than Purina, which has a more firm texture. The price is around 50 cents in most stores and you will often find sales such as Buy 4 Get 1 Free and coupons: Buy 2 Get 1 Free. Look for such coupons at the shelf or even on cans. This will make for a pretty good deal. Cans are 3 oz, the size of most similar canned food products. You can store it in the fridge for up to 3 days, but make sure to put it in an airtight container to keep it fresh and to avoid your fridge smelling like cat food. Flavor Selection I buy chicken, beef, turkey and seafood. Our cat loves them all equally. Salmon tends to be a bit more pricey, but I have found it on sale for 50 cents as well. I will probably buy more salmon in the future, because it is a healthier protein.
