These are 55% recycled plastic, 16% post-consumer recycled plastic that are strong, durable, easy to use drawstring bags that come from an ethical company, holds liquid, best for indoor trash and do not overfill or will tear (hasn't happened to me yet). They are made in USA, 10% of their profits go to organizations working for environmental good and carton is made of 100% recycle fiber which can be recycled again. By using these trash bags, we save on use of oil which in turn will heat more homes. I feel better using these than brand new bags. I'm still search of a good biodegradable that is environment friendly. For now, I really like these bags. Seventh Generation has many good products and I've added this one to my list.
