Disappointing

2

Let me start by saying that I love this brand and they usually make wonderful products. However, this one was really disappointing. I purchased this to try and help keep my toilet cleaner in between flushes. I followed the directions and dropped one in the back of my toilet tank. It was supposed to last a while and keep my toilet cleaner. However, it did not do much but stain my toilet. The blue color in the tablets stained my toilet bowl. I was able to scrub most of it off, but not all of it. It was definitely not worth it in the long run. They did not last as long as promised either. I would skip this product. It only caused me more work and did not keep my toilet clean like I hoped it would. Performance It did not do much for my toilet at all. It stained it a blue color. The staining was not worth any cleaning that it did. Scent The scent really is not bad. It is strong and makes your bathroom smell. However, it is not a bad smell.

Way Better than Toilet Scrubbing

5

I love using these toilet tabs! I always use them in all the bathrooms in our house. I have found that they do a great job of keeping my toilets clean, and my scrubbing of them to a minimum. Usually I have to go in once or twice a week with just a toilet brush (no additional toilet bowl cleaner) to swish around the inside of the toilet bowl. But it is literally a ten second job. I cannot say that you will never have to scrub your toilets with them, however they make that job much, much easier. I really like that they are disinfecting and kill germs. (Especially if someone is sick with a stomach bug or something) One thing that you do have to be aware of is that the toilet tabs do contain bleach. So you want to be careful of using any other cleaners that contain ammonia around them. So if you do want to use toilet bowl cleaner, make sure you read the bottle to make sure that you don't use both chemicals together (that could make toxic fumes).

I call it clean when it's blue - Scrubbing Bubbles

5

I am a regular and long term user of scrubbing bubbles stain repel. I am always concerned to have a clean toilet without stains. I am prone to bladder infections so I take adequate precautions to stay away from it. I have tried out many stain removal products and also disinfectants but nothing seemed to work out for me as it neither did the job nor was it easy to use. About one and half years back, I found this WONDER bubbles! Yeah that's how I call the scrubbing bubbles which did wonders to my dirty, always stained toilet bowl. Drop just one tablet in your flush tank and forget about your toilet stains and stay clean off infections for the next three weeks. I make sure I have stocked enough of it so that I don't run out of it at all Performance It is not a 100% stain repelling product but it's so far the best I've used. Scent It has a good smell when I use it the first week but slowly fades off with time. Wish the smell could be enhanced.

Toilets Best Friend!

This item is one of the best that really worked on my toilet. I'm a fragrance nut and having my toilet(of all things) smell wonderful without scrubbing is a bonus. Cleans very well too. Scrubbing Bubbles is a trustworthy brand.

Good but could be better...

I am currently using this product and I really like how clean it keeps my toilet. I also like the blue color that it makes the water because it is pretty neat looking. My only problem with it is that I wish it lasted longer. For the price, it could at least last longer than it does. That's my only complaint though. Scent There is no scent which is really awesome! You don't have to worry about strong 'bathroom-cleaner' scents with this and it covers up any other toilet scents at the same time.

Scrubbing Bubbles? Vanish? Say what?!

My favorite toilet cleaning product, Vanish Crystals, (did I just say that I have a favorite toilet cleaning product?) has long been discontinued. I loved watching the toilet water bubble up as the crystal's chemical reaction with the water cleaned the bowl and I loved the way it made my bathroom smell. Once Vanish came out with drop-in automatic cleaning tablets I used them as well. My toilets were always clean and never a source of embarrassment. Sigh! I miss the crystals. Sometime later, when Scrubbing Bubbles came on the scene I was immediately hooked. All I had to do was spray on the bubbles, wait a minute or two and wipe away bathroom grunge from tubs, sinks, counters, toilet exteriors, etc. Life was definitely getting better in the bathroom cleaning department. While I generally stay loyal to the Scrubbing Bubbles brand, I can not say that for the Vanish brand. As far as I have been concerned, most automatic toilet cleaning tablets are created about equal. I've tried them all so, when I saw the bright green packaging at the store that showed Scrubbing Bubbles on a toilet tablet, I bit. This is a good product. It won't harm septic tanks or children or pets that might accidentally drink form the toilet. (Keep the lid down.) Performance The product is a good one, but then it should be. As far as I can tell, it is simply Vanish Drop-Ins with continuous clean repackaged. Or, maybe it is the packaging that confuses me. The box says that it is a Scrubbing Bubbles product. No, wait. It also says it is a Vanish product. So, which is it? Vanish disguised as Scrubbing Bubbles or has Scrubbing Bubbles kidnapped the Vanish brand and repackaged it? As far as I can tell, both the Vanish as well as the Scrubbing Bubbles brands are under the SC Johnson company umbrella. Why the confusion? Whatever the brand, I like this product. After cleaning the toilet, place a tablet in the tank after flushing so that the water level is low. Wait ten minutes and then flush. It has a wonderful, clean scent, the tablets dissolve at a slow pace so they last a while. Each time the toilet is flushed the product runs down the bowl and scrubs away stains and germs for me. It also helps deodorize the air. When the water is no longer blue, place a new tablet in the tank. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Bye bye Vanish, Hello Blue Scrubbing Bubbles Drop Ins?

4

We used to buy Vanish Drop Ins all the time for keeping our toilets clean but we haven't seen them lately on the store shelves. That is, we didn't until I noticed that the label has changed to Scrubbing Bubbles Vanish Drop Ins. That's a realllly long name for a small product. I'm sure they'll shorten it sooner or later. Anyway, I bought some recently because I've missed seeing the blue water in our bowls and knowing that our toilets were clean for the time being. Plus I had a great coupon and they came out really inexpensive. The toilets were scrubbed clean and the tablet was dropped into the tank as directed. The scent wasn't as strong as it used to be. It used to be fresh and slightly flowery. Now, it's fresh and something. I can't really put my finger on it. But it's pleasant enough. The old Vanish Drop Ins also used to work quite a long time, about 5-6 weeks on average but now, they seem to work may 4-5 weeks. I don't know what happened - may be the name change also affected it's durability. but the bowls do stay clean and smelling good during that time.

Doesn't work and stains my toilet tank blue

2

I got a bunch of these since I was having a problem with my toilet getting rings around the water and getting dirty because there are 5 people in the house. Mine came in packs of 2 per box. I took one out and it had a strong odor which wasn't the greatest. I read the directions and put the drop in into my toilet tank after flushing the toilet. I let it sit for 10 mintues then flushed my toilet again and my toilet water turned blue. Over time I did not notice my toilet staying clean. It still got the ring and got dirty in the same amount of time. When I took off my toilet tank cover I also discovered that my tank was stained blue, not the water but rather the actual tank itself in the corner where the drop in sat. That is very disappointing. My toilet is ruined but thankfully it's not something that can be seen unless you open the tank cover and look.
