While the Scope White Mouthwash works very well as a mouthwash for cleansing and fresh breath, it is completely ineffective as a whitening agent. I used the Scope White Mouthwash every day for at least four months, and my teeth did not get any whiter than they had been before. It does not work at all and does not perform the way that they advertised on television, in magazines, and in other venues. The taste of the Scope White Mouthwash is not altogether unpleasant. It is strong enough to last for a while after each use, which is important to my husband and myself. I appreciated that it lasted longer than some other mouthwashes that I have tried. The Scope White Mouthwash does not work well as a purifying agent for oral thrush, which is a side effect of using steroid-based nasal sprays (like Flonase) or steroid-based inhalers (for asthma). That was a disappointment for us.

I can't tell you how much I love Scope White. My tooth color lightened at least five shades on my "whitening strips" I got with a tooth whitening system. I drink coffee every day, and was noticing my teeth were looking dingy. I love the mint taste, and use it morning and evening. I was very dismayed to buy a bottle today and find a note attached saying 'in the next few months, Scope White will no longer be available for sale.' Makes me very sad. It's the only over-the-counter whitening product that has ever worked for my stubborn coffee stains.

I tried the Scope Whitening mouthwash recently and was not totally convinced that it whitens teeth, but I did find it to be okay as just a mouth rinse.  I find the taste of it to be just fine, because I'm used to what peroxide tastes like and it doesn't bother me.  But, my boyfriend on the otherhand, thought it was just nasty.  I really don't think it whitened my teeth any and that's why I'm not giving it a 5 star rating.  I bought it mainly for that reason and am a bit disappointed just in that aspect, but I would probably buy it again with a coupon just to save some money to use it as just a normal morning mouth rinse.  It is affordable and maybe it does do some good as to whitening teeth.  I just couldn't see it for myself, but I'm sure there is some truth to it being there is peroxide in it.

OK, so I went to big lots a store here in california, and I saw that there was a scope whitening mouthwash and I was very happy because I have used scope before and let me tell you i loved how it worked. But then When i finally washed my mouth, and rinsed my mouth with this mouth wash OH MY GOD the after taste this mouth wash left in my mouth was horrible I couldnt believe how nasty it tasted. Also I have never had this taste before in any of the mouth washed Ive used before NOT EVEN SCOPE, well actually this is my first time using the brand scope, so i couldnt tell you if they all taste like this. I usually use LIsterine and i love the way the mouth wash leaves my mouth and breath tasting good and fresh. I have never had any complaints with listerine before. But this one I cant tell you how gross it left my mouth, I had to litterally brush my teeth, tounge and all my mouth all over again just to remove the taste. I wouldnt recomend this to any of my friends. Sorry.

Scope White Mouthwash is awesome, i just tried it and i love it, i can see a difference in the color of my teeth already after just a few uses. I have always been a Scope fan but had not tried their scope white mouthwash, i guess i always figured that the white part wouldn't work so well because i smoke cigaretttes, but i was wrong, i can tell a difference despite the fact that i smoke, i can see my teeth looking whiter and less yellowing. It's like it's eating the tobacco stain away.  I have already been asked if i went to the dentist and had my teeth whitened.  But all i have done is use Scope White Mouthwash so that tells ya it sure is making a difference in my teeth. My husband likes it also and he is a picky person when he finds a product he likes he doesn't change even if they come out with something new, and he likes it, now it's our new mouthwash choice. Scope has done a good job on this one.

     Sometimes when we get something or free, it is not so great.      This mouthwash came one hair from the garbage pail!  Ewww!      If you can get used to the nasty taste, it supposedly has teeth whitening benefits, and freshening that lasts.  Mint Splash?     It is more like one drop of mint.  I only bought this because I had ther free coupon and just paid the tax.  I love other Scope mouthwashes, but this one was not for me.      It has a medicinal taste that is even worse than the original moth blasting Listerine.       I will be trying another type of Scope that I saw a few really good reviews that I saw on this site.       It will be soon too, as I do not think I can make it through the whole bottle.  I cringe every morning and night after brushing when I use this.      I am glad I carry mints and sugarfree gum with me all of the time.  This mouthwash does NOT last long at all.
