We were in the process of furnishing a vacation house and we didn't want to spend a lot on furniture. While searching for something useful, good looking and solid, I found Sauders makes some really well made, solid and nice looking furniture. I have bought this brand over the years and have never been disappointed and their entertainment center is no different. It will hold up to a 60 inch flat panel TV and doesn't have to be wall mounted. The unit has shelves that are adjustable as well as a couple of door that keeps dust out and a storage door. It is solid and well made and we think it has a unique finish. Depending on how the light is on it the finish will appear black, a bronze, or deep mahogany color. Whatever the color it blend well with other furniture and we love the unit. It is functional and we can use it for the DVD player, remotes and etc. Yes, it one of those things that had to be assembled however that didn't seem to be an issue and went pretty smooth.
