I am very disappointed with this tv from sanyo. It started out great, and we were very happy to have finally made the splurge and bought a bit flat screen. The biggest we had prior to this is a 45 inch. So we got the tv home and installed it with an approved flat screen tv wall mount. The tv was easy to install with the mount, and the hook up was a breeze. We did not damage the tv at all, and carried it the way the box called for and there was no visible damage to the box it came in. We actually were given a tv from the storage, and not one that was sitting on a shelf where customers could touch it. We did nothing to the tv at all so we were very surprised when it started flickering on and off for no reason. We checked the cord and there is no damage to that and the plug in is fine as well and plugging other appliances into the same socket was also fine. We have no idea how this happened and why it's doing this. Sometimes we will turn it on and it will continue to flash on and off like we are hitting the power button repeatedly. Sometimes the sound will continue uninterupped while it's doing this. Once in a while it will start doing that when the tv is already on. When it starts this we turn it off for a while and then it seems to stop and not happen again for a while. We did not buy the extra warranty so we are stuck with this tv which is obviously not working correctly. We don't use it very much and just got it. It did this for the first time shortly after we got it. I know we did not cause any damage to the tv at all, and from what I can see if the box it has no tears of or dents or anything else in the cardboard box. I'm confused and disappointed in the brand because we spent a lot of money on this tv and I'm sure it's not going to last long in its condition. We may bring it to a man who fixes tvs loacally but I'm hesitant to spend any more money with this tv. I spend enough on it and the wall mount. I will never buy another product from this brand.

We purchased this tv as we wanted to replace our large clunky floor model and wanted a flat screen to hang on the wall.Since it was Christmas, we decided to buy this for ourselves as a Christmas gift and It was really good idea. It was on sale when we bought it and it was very affordable. It has many different settings and You can hook up multiple HDMI devices.The USB cable allows you to watch videos from other electronics as well. You can also put this on a stand , however it does not come with one and you have to buy that separately. The picture and sound quality are very nice and the color is perfect. I really like this tv and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice flat screen television. It is sleek and modern looking and lightweight.It is easy to set up and to use. .We checked around alot before we bought one and are glad that we decided to purchase the Sanyo 50" flat panel television.

This television is both affordable and large. It is great for watching sports (especially if you have HD cable or satellite service) and movies. There is nothing 'bad' about the TV, but it only gets 8 stars because I've seen how far TVs have come since we got this one, and it's pretty amazing. This TV isn't quite amazing, but it's clear and never has any problems with picture, color, or sound. Picture Quality Good picture quality. Our particular model is 720p, so it's not as great for blu-ray movies as a 1080p model. The motion flow is also not as fluid and smooth as a lot of the newer, more expensive TVs, but it's not choppy or fuzzy either. Sound Quality The sound quality of the TV itself is okay. We have a surround sound system that helps immensely with the sound. Durability This is a very durable TV set. We have moved with it twice, just putting it in the back of my Jeep Patriot, and it has shown no signs of distress. My 2-year-old pushes the buttons on the side relentlessly and objects get accidentally thrown into the screen all the time and there's not so much as a scratch on it.

We purchased this tv as an upgrade. It was the day of the Super Bowl and my husband wanted a bigger tv for the game. It has been a really good deal. We got it on sale actually. I like how it has all the different settings. You can use more than one HDMI device. You can plug in a usb cable and view videos and pictures from other devices. It has several A/V jacks in the back for multiple devices such as DVD players etc and it keeps your cords hidden that way. The only thing I can say negative about it, is we had to buy a stand for it but I think most of them are that way. Picture Quality We have satellite and we can use HD with this TV but we chose not to so far and the picture is exceptional even without it. Durability We've only had it about 3 years now but it still looks and sounds new.

We have had our Sanyo flat-screen television for several years. The picture quality and sound quality are good, and we have been pleased with our purchase. We like the screen size, although it took some getting used to when we first got it, because it was so much larger than our last television. I would recommend this flat screen television.

I have been very pleased with the tv. The high definition tv is 720p/1080i. It has three rows of plugins for plenty of addons. We have this set up in a 20x24 room and it has an excellent viewing angle with no distortion. If there is a drawback, it is the location of the plugins.

We have had our tv for over 2 years now and we have not had any problems with it. It steal has a great quality picture and sound. We also got it for a good price. Lots of Plugins on the back and the side of the t.v. You can hook a game system, vcr, dvd, etc. up with no problem. You will never have to disconnect something to plug another up. I also really like that the tv is 50'. You can watch tv from about anywhere in the house, because it is so big. When guests walk into my house, the first thing they see is my BIG tv. And they cant help but say, "I love your tv"! I cant remember the exact price, but I know we got it before thanksgiving, for a great price. Any my husband still thinks it was the best Christmas present ever.

We've had this TV for over a year now.   The picture is great and the price was definitely reasonable and one of the best prices out there for a plasma screen at Walmart.   I still consider it a great deal even a year later. The screen and sound is just right.   The one thing that I wish it had were more plug ins. It does have three HD inputs. However, it seems to only have one video (yellow) input and so in order for us to watch tv and then to watch the DVD player, we have to switch one of the cords.  That can be a hassle since that shouldn't even be an issue on a television now a days.    Other than that, it has worked awesome for us and it's a BIG screen so everything looks so much more awesome than on our old TV.  The remote works well with it.  My husband fell in love with it the moment that we got it at the store and it gets used everyday so it was worth what we paid for it and has served us well.

I recently purchased a Sanyo 50" Flatpanel HD Plamsa TV Model DP50749. At first i was kind of skeptical about the plasma screen, but now i wouldn't trade it for anything. The picture quality is awesome, the sound quality is incredible. There is not one thing i can say about it that i don't like. If you are looking to buy  a new TV, you have got to look into one of these. The best part about it is that it was fairly cheap.

We got this Sanyo plasma tv a few months ago for a great price and were impressed with the picture - but disappointed that it wasn't as clear as we thought it should be. As soon as we upgraded to HD tv with our satellite provider - it was awesome. It has worked perfectly for us and the picture is crystal clear. I can't imagine a better tv OR a better price (it cost less than the giant projection tv we used to have). My parents have the same tv and they love it just as much. I would definitely recommend this tv to anyone.
