Convenient of no debt, met with a higher price.

3

I purchased a Go phone from AT&T because my husband and I are working to get out of debt.  So, anything that we can pay with cash, we utilize. The Go Phone gives us that convenience, but we are faced with the choice of spending more money or having less mintues and services.

No Contract

4

If you can keep your call conservative, then prepaid is the answer.  No contract; perfect in these economical times.  .99/pay to use the phone; Free calls to other verizon or alltel phones.  If you make a lot of calls or texts then this is not right for you.

Samsung cell phone with Sprint service ~ tons of dropped calls

2

Samsung cell phone, sprint service provider. moved to Branson West, MO in Jan 2006,  and service was OK, few dropped calls, but within the last twelve months, calls are dropped almost daily.  From computer area, sunroom, bedroom, family room, and outside home.  Callls are dropped in varies areas of Stonebridge, in and around Branson, poor service in Hollisted, litttle if any serive between Branson West {highway 13 360] and Springfield, also poor is any service out of Harrison Ark, and between Branson and Fayetteville. Ark.  While living in Lakeside City, Texas [Wichita Falls] any had great service all the time we were on Spring.  While in Dallas, Texas in Jan 2007 we had some roaming charges, whick promtly took care of [credit bill for the roaming chage].  As for the Wichita Falls, Texas serivce area we would rate Sprint outstanding, but for the Branson West, MO. area we would rate it very poor.  We re-newed our servie agreement [we have two cell phones] in Dec. 2007, but will not renew in Dec. 09 unless the service in greatly in provided.  Also have had some minor billing problems with Sprint, evern with direct monthly bills, but have always worked them out after about three calls.  Waste of my time for such a minor issue, but I refused to be billed charged for over billing items.

Samsung's Blast Could Have More Firepower

2

When I went to T-Mobile to see what phones I would be able to upgrade to (it was that time of the year) I saw the blast and thought to myself, thats a cool looking phone.  I upgraded to it with high hopes and from the moment I received it I knew I was going to have problems with this phone.  The phone came to me crushed up and mangled in the box and the battery cover was twisted and broken.  I called customer service and they sent a new one right over but the hassle of having to do that caused me to start off on the wrong foot with this phone.  As time went on I began to see that while it had some perks, the flaws greatly outshone the perks. Here are my combined perks and flaws because thats how the phone came out, each perk had a flaw that caused me to dislike it even more.  Text messaging; first off, its either an annoying ring or a pulsing vibration, you have only those options, you cant customize.  When it comes to texting T-9 does not have all the words you want and it rarely remembers the ones you use most.  Texting quickly is a problem as the phone will occasionally misread a double tap on the keyboard.  The phone is very lightweight, almost to the point of being to fragile, my slide has started to get finnicky, it sticks and acts weird, T-Mobile denied it when I called though, said it was due to me using the slide in a manner inconsistent with the device.  Also one thing I flat out hate about this phone is that answering the phone if its in your pocket or backpack or purse I would imagine is I always hit the end key when the phone starts to ring.

The samsung Blast....Right there in the title!!! it really is a blast!!! one of my favorite cell phones i ever had!!!!! It is sooooo light weight...which for a girl is always better..doesnt weigh down your purse, or in this case...light enough to carry in your butt pocket!!! It is very thin...so you dont even notice it!!! just be careful when going to the bathroom!!! iv forgotten it was in back pocket like 50 times and it fell out of my pocket, almost landing in the toilet!!! ive done this with a different cell phone...mom was pissed!!!! Its red and black...oooooo cute! stylish!!!....Makes the boys jealous!!! super sick!!! it slides open and close..the keys are like a keyboard...spell qwerty across your buttons, not like a regular phones keys...takes some getting used to, but now i wont go back to a regular phone...The screen is big a easy to read!! you can choose large or small font... some options you have are you can make your numbers raindbow when dialing....you can have music on your phone with its built in mp3 player....so many features...fun to make your own style!!! buttons arent too small...welll for me but i have small hands...but i think they are good size...This phone has no complaints!!

The Blast could withstand a blast

3

The Samsung Blast is not a high tech phone. It can text, call out, check email. the basics but not much more. It can however withstand life with a busy, clumsy momma! I have dropped my phone in the toilet, a cup of tea, spilt countless beverages on or around it and of coarse let it slip out of my hand onto the floor more times than I should admit to. It also has unfortunatly become my sons choice of entertainment in any waiting situation. The picture quality is decent, enough to capture a silly moment but really not enough to blow up and print out. You can also take videos and the quality's about the same, it does however get really pixilated if trying to send a video message. The one quality I really do enjoy is the organizer. It has everything needed to keep life inorder and is very straight forward. Like I mentioned it really is a no frills phone but it is resilient and dependable. If it can withstand life with a preschooler, it should last through anything!

samsung verizon Intensity slippery slope

Since the cover broke and is very hard to find another the thing keeps slipping i love the keyboard you can txt so much easier on it with that !is a good phone the main reason we got it is that was free with the plan it doesn't take good pictures at all but is great for texts i do not have any reception for phone calls where i live so i consider the txt the most important in my phone. It does not have much memory either u need to get a memory card for it for sure specially if you want to keep some of your kid pics and a couple of ring-tones i use it also for alarm clock it works great lol i know weird! but you get attached to the little thing with the time. the lock feature don't work very good and can go blank and lock on freeze screen also sometimes we still don't know if we taking the couple back  my hubby cant barely make it with those itsy bitsy buttons but he worries too much about misspelling i don't and you can tell about it if you reading this review i do hope this helps i would only recommend this phone if you get it free with your plan is a ok phone that is it

samsung is a good product

I purchased my samsung phone about five years ago and have never had a problem with the phone or sprint service since day one. I am very happy and satisfied with my samsung sprint service phone and the plan that I have. Although I am due for an upgrade of my cell phone, I am currently happy with my type of cell phone that I have and the service never gives me a problem.I don't currentl,y use the internet on my cell phone as I do have a computer at home and I believe a phone should be used for calling purposes only. I do have a camera and do use it occassionally when I want to capture a very important moment or a picture of my pets, as they are very humoring to have around. I use my alarm clock on my cell phone every morning to wake the kids up for school and its never let me down. I don't even use my regular alarm clock anymore as my cell phone is so convenient to use for the alarm clock. All in all I am very satisfied with my samsung cell phone and wouldn't want to live without it! Lorrie
