we just moved into a house and were looking for a side by side refridgerator. i love this one in black. big enough shelves on side to hold gallons of milk and juice drawers are deep. shelves are spaced evenly easy to clean. freezer is real good size. love the icemaker and water . i wouldnt want any other one but this. recommend it to others

My unit works well until we have a power break/surge/brown-out. The issue is the error logic in the firmware. It doesn't know how to restart the unit so it just sits in limbo and all the food spoils. I have learned how to reset the unit but am not always at home to check it out. BTW to reset the unit just hold simultaneously the two buttons 'power freeze' and 'power cool' until the LEDs begin blinking. This is not documented in your manual.

The Samsung side by side 25 cubic foot refrigerator is a best buy.  The stainless steel outside makes this refrigerator very attractive.  It is Energy Star compliant which saves money and valuable energy.  The cool select zone drawer lets you store specific foods at their correct temperature.  It also has a digital display and control panel which is easy to use and includes a child-lock feature.  The water and ice dispenser are easy to use, both using filtered water.  Filters are easy to change out when necessary.

I'm not too sure what it is I'm writing a review about.  Some pages skipped and I never got to see the fridge.  Maybe I'm missing the point here.  It looked real nice and i would sample one in my house. The black fridge has always attracted me.  The side by side aspect of the fridge attracted me as well.  It is a bit narrow and some of my pots and contaners are really wide.  My frozen pizzas are large and I like to lay them flat in my freezer.  I would also prefer not to have to bend to enter the freezer-kind of like when I was a child.  Do you remember that? Thanks.

Samsung RS2556 is a large appliance measuring approx. 70 inches in height, 36 inches in width, and 35 inches in depth. This is a side by side model and it contains a total of 25.2 cubic feet of internal storage space.  The Samsung RS3556 Refrigerator/Freezer is an excellent appliance and expensive appliance pricing for a refrigerator.  Samsung usually doesn't make appliances until recently.  Nice and clean design. I'll give it 3stars for an average rating.

We have this fridge and we love it. It has a ton of room to store all of our needs. Our 3 year old loves fruit and the drawers are very spacious which allows us to store all her snacks. The door has huge shelves in which to store your many condiments.

  Most everyone has owned/experienced many different types of refrigerators and most of us have switched brands and models frequently- often every time we have moved. I moved to a new residence in a new state just a few months ago and my new house included the kitchen appliances. And among them, the most deluxe and sophisticated is my **Samsung Model RS2556 Refrigerator Freezer**, a large refrigeration device. **Refrigerator Commentary:** Samsung RS2556 is a large appliance and it ranks as the most technologically advanced appliance I have ever owned and also the most expensive. The refrigerator/freezer combinations I have owned in the past have been rather basic, offering freezing and refrigeration compartments, crispers, and other basics. I have never owned a refrigerator freezer that had an ice and water dispenser on the door; digital readouts and precise temperature controls; or other advanced features. This Samsung model offers these bells & whistles and more. This side by side refrigeration/freezing device offers many reasons to sing its praises. Not only is it very large (mover 25 cubic feet). It also offers precise temperature controls, filtered water dispenser, and ice or crushed ice right from the door. Convenience and precision seem to be the name of the game with this appliance. Little kids often like to press the buttons on the front of the Samsung RS2556 but don't let this potential problem worry you. Samsung has included, for your convenience, a child lock on the front panel. With a push of this button, you can lock the other buttons in this area so that little ones cannot accidentally turn the refrigerator temperature or freezer temperature too high or too low. After talking about this appliance in so many positive ways, are there any flaws in its performance or design? Well, there are only a few small, minor flaws. One is with the water dispenser. The water stream is quite narrow, and this means additional patience is needed while you wait for your glass to fill. Another is the amount of space taken by the ice maker. It uses more space than you realize, so there isn't really as much room in the freezer as there first appears. **Bottom Line Viewpoint:** Taken as a whole, however, the Samsung RS3556 Refrigerator/Freezer is an excellent appliance and it is easily the fanciest, most advanced, and most expensive appliance I have ever owned. I could have purchased an appliance like this in the past, but it never seemed worthwhile because I couldn't see the need for so many of these added features. But now that I have rung the bells and blown the whistles, I am happy that I have such a fine appliance in my presence. It has only a few minor flaws, but these are easily displaced by the large storage, the precision controls, the ice/water dispenser on the doors, and the many other added features.

have you ever went shopping and couldn't fit all your freezer items in the freezer? this refrigerator is superior to others for its quad cooling zones you can actually turn the crisper drawer into a freezer for extra space. it is roomy and has fold back shelves for those larger items. no more readjusting shelves.
