I am a very impatient scrapbooker, meaning I like my pictures when I am ready for them.  My daughter bought me my Samsung digital for Christmas two years ago and now I am never without it.  I can take pictures, load to my computer, and then at 3am in the morning I can print and work on my scrap books . The convience of having a digital has far out weighed my old 35mm.  I save on having film developed and I save time because my pictures are ready when I am.  I have taken pictures at a family function and had them printed and ready to go at the end of the day. My Samsung digital is easy to use and convienent.  It is small and mighty.  I can take pictures outside and move right inside and continue to take picutres without having to make changes.  I can zoom in or out as needed and the picture clarity is awesome. I love my Samsung and would recommend it to anyone.

This would be a good camera if it had a rechargeable battery instead of 2 AA batteries. I run out of juice to quickly for this camera to be worth anything to me. What is really frustrating is the batteries will run out suddenly and the whole camera will freeze and shut off. The lens is still out and everything. When I sent it in to Samsung, they said everything was fine, but the problem is still there with my camera. I wish I never had bought this camera.

This camera isn't as great as a Canon or another brand known for camera greatness, but the Samsung s850 is really a pretty good deal. It has 8.1 MP and 5x optical zoom. The screen is huge and the camera is pretty easy to use.
