This has been a decent TV for us, but not a great one. This thing is big like a tube TV. The tv got slightly damaged on the trip home which was only about a 10 minute drive. One of the mirrors inside got twisted around and it left a weird shadow/smudge on the screen. A technician had to come fix it. This TV requires frequent maintenance. DLP uses a projector bulb to display images. Well, just like any other light bulb, it goes out sometimes and we have to replace it. This happens about once a year or so. And unfortunately, those bulbs are pretty expensive. The picture quality is pretty good, but it's not as good as the LED or plasma in my opinion. We are looking at replacing this TV pretty soon. Sound Quality We purchased an additional sound system because this one was just so-so. Durability Needs frequent maintenance and you have to be very careful when you move it because the insides get knocked around a bit and it distorts your picture. Design Yeah, DLP in general is just not great design. I wish we had know that when we bought it.
