I got this camera free with some other purchase.  This is my first samsung camera and I am really skeptical about it because my previous cameras are always sony. When i got it, the first thing that interest me is the dual view.  I for one likes to take picture with my husband but it is always very difficult to stop someone randomly on the road to take a picture of us.  So now we just positioned ourselves and the couple shot will automatically adjust and snap away.    I have tried taking a few, so far it meets my expectation.   I haven't try the children mode but I know it will comes in handy for those who needs something to distract the kid while taking their picture. It has image stablization which my previous camera do not have.  This is good so that no blurry pictures from now on.  I like the big 2.7" large LCD screen and the front LCD is 1.5". I am still exploring all the other features but so far I am satisfied with all the pictures turnout.

Do not get this camera, because I promise you, you will be disappointed considering how much you paid. If you have really, really steady hands, then you might have a chance at a good picture. I don't know how many times I took a blurry picture with this camera, but it was many sadly. I really like the idea, and I think it's innovative to have a dual view where you can see how you look if you're taking a picture of yourself or yourself + friends. I am surprised how badly this was executed though. I gave this to my girlfriend who had so much trouble taking pictures where she was fed up with it. I was able to snag a few good photos but at least 75% of my photos were blurry or bad. I am disappointed in you, Samsung. Hopefully your future dual view cameras will be better. I'm surprised Canon or Nikon has not released a camera with this feature since a lot of people like to take pictures of themselves, and they have no idea where they are standing in the picture nor do they know who's included in the picture. Don't get this camera, please.

This camera is the one provided to me by my work place. We use it to take photographs of lesions to identify treatment locations as well as for monitoring lesions. We use it for close ups a lot. I usually use a Sony digital camera, so this was a change for me. Some of the features I like include the front screen. This is not practical for work purposes, however, my husband and I always take photos of ourselves when we are traveling. This front screen would make things so much easier since you can see what the photo you are about to take will look like. The front screen has two options, one to see the photo you are going to take and one that has a clown that dances and music that plays. This setting would be great for taking pictures of babies. As mentioned previously, we use the camera for lots of close up pictures. I don't find it very easy to take an in focus close up picture with this camera even with macro on. I also find the color to be a bit off.

After losing our digital camera we had to go out and look for another. This camera was all the rage with the commercials and major advertising. I was intrigued. I love to have the newest gadgets as soon as they come out, but my husband was hesitant. However, depending on your situation this camera may be just what you need. We go on lots of trips but we're always by ourselves and don't always have someone to take our picture, but with this camera we don't need to worry. I will agree with others that this camera does take some figuring out, but once you get it you'll be more than pleased. I also show horses and take HD 1080p video all the time and LOVE the way it comes out. It's never blurry and to be honest it works better than some video cameras I've used. The Dual View is a great feature and I'm really glad that we decided to purchase this camera because lots of pictures have been taken together versus alone because it's easy to do using the front display. Thank you samsung for this fabulous camera.

This is a phenomenal camera!!!  It takes lovely pictures and has many different features to choose from. The Dual View is incredible and it makes picture taking much easier! Especially when your photographing you and other people at the same time.  The flash makes for great pictures in the dark.  The only problem with this camera is that the screen is easily damaged. I cannot recall ever dropping it but the screen has black spots on it.  Although they do not show up on the pictures the spots are a hassle when viewing my photos on the camera itself.  Besides that minor flaw this camera is top notch and I would recommend it to anybody who takes care of their electronics, I would not recommend it to someone reckless, because of the sensitive screen. I would however recommend investing in a camera case just to be on the safe side. I have had this camera for almost a year now, and usually would have upgraded by now.  But this camera is just great :]

I really like the dual view feature of this camera, I just can't seem to get pictures to come out well. No matter what the setting the picture is usually blurry, I had the camera for one day before a spot appeared on the screen that doesn't go away. This camera is nice but I feel like I need to take a photography course before I can use it properly LoL

I recently purchased this camera online and have mixed reviews of it. I love the dual view aspect of this camera. I am on a vacation with my husband and it is very nice to be able to see exactly what you are taking a picture of and are not just guessing when you take the picture. I have noticed that the actual camera feels a little cheap though and I am worried about the overall quality of the camera. A good aspect is that it takes pictures very quickly and the quality so far seems good. It seems like a decent point and shoot camera but I definitely would not recommend it as I am a big supporter of Nikon. I feel that they have the best quality and would most likely choose to stick with them from here on out. It is not that Samsung makes bad cameras it is just that Nikon's cameras to me are so superior that it is hard for me to condone any other brand. The samsung also has a weird menu setting that makes it a little hard to understand and not very user friendly.
