BOUGHT THIS UNIT THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING AND USED TO RECORD MY FAMILY'S ACTIVITES WHILE VISITNG MY SISTER IN LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA. WHILE THERE IS STILL A GREAT DEAL FOR ME TO LEARN ABOUT THIS DEVICE (OWNERS MANUAL IS NEARLY 150 PAGES), I WAS QUITE PLEASED WITH MY "OUT OF THE BOX" USER RESULTS.  HAD NO PROBLEM BUYING NEEDED ACCESSORIES AT REASONABLE PRICES.

It works great and i love it. It will be great to have this christmas to video the kids and everything else. Easy to operate.  Only significant downside was it came without a battery and I had to search for the right one at the best price.

         This camera has great sound and picture quality but it seems like I spend more time trying to fix it than acutally using it. I always start recording and then it shows an error or I get done recording and then I can't watch it. I am not sure if it is just my camera or all of the cameras made by this company but I would give this camera two thumbs down!
