This is an excellent large screen TV for the money Picture Quality We use this TV exclusively for watching DVDs/Blu Rays. The picture quality is crisp and consistent. Sound Quality We have not hooked this up to external speakers so we do use the speakers in the TV. We have never had a complaint or issue with the sound. Durability This TV gets hauled back and forth from storage to class room frequently and withstands the trip. Then again, it has never been dropped! Design Sleek and streamline. We did a lot of research before buying this particular model. We also purchased the extended warranty but have not had cause to use it. Performance This has been a top notched performer for us. We used to rent TVs for the purpose we use the TV but buying it outright and new made so much more sense and was a better investment for us. It has paid off in the end and is a much more sensible way for us to conduct business. We highly recommend this TV.

We bought this tv about a year ago. The only complaint I have is the sound. We had to go buy a sound bar to be able to hear most shows. It really depends on the show, but we notice it more on movies. I like that you the instruction guide is on the tv, so I don't have to look for a booklet. The picture seems just fine for us. It was a rather inexpensive tv, and our first flat screen. We bought the extended warranty, as we do for most appliances...because you just never know. Sometimes we use them, sometimes we don't, but we feel it's better to have at the beginning, as we have had issues with some of our other appliances. The only other issue is it doesn't have enough plugs. We have a Wii and then the sound bar, but can't have both hooked up and then the dvd player also. I have to keep unplugging things when we are watching a movie on the dvd, which is a total pain. Sound Quality Sound doesn't get loud enough to carry in our long living room, but we bought a sound bar.
