This Samsung PN42A450 plasma is great!  I couldn't be more happy about it.  The colors are sharp and blacks are very black.  I really have yet to see any downside for this Television.  I have owned it for 3+ years now and have not had the slightest problem with it.  Even though it's a plasma and only 720P, I haven't had any complaints about the picture quality.  This television has sold me not only on the capabilities of plasma but that a quality TV can be had for a resonable price.  Also, the 720P things has not been an issue as I believe that if your TV is <42inches, 720P is prefectly adequate.  Prior to owning this, I came from an LCD television and I believe the picture quality and colors are considerably more vibrant and detailed on this monitor then the LCD.  I will even occasionally hook up my computer and use it as a large monitor.  I've yet to experience any burn in and there are settings you can put on the television to minimize that.

Samsung has always been my favorite brand. Their products have never failed me and they always have spectacular quality! We bought this TV over a year ago and let me tell you and I'm still amazed by the picture everyday. I never get bored of watching the clear, crisp images. This is one of the clearest I've seen. On occation I'll stop by the TV's in the store and check em' out. They never look as good as this TV. I also have friends and family who have other TV's and I am never impressed with their quality and picture. Another thing I love about this TV is that it's easy to move. I can pick it up and move it by myself and it's sturdy. I am also a gamer. We have both the Xbox 360 and the playstation. And I have to say that when we got this TV and played a few games. We knew nothing would be the same ever again and we would never go back to a regular TV. At least I hope we never have to. This TV was made for the gamer. It's got all the right hook ups, sound and picture. It has a specific setting just for gaming that you just turn on when your playing. This also goes for watching movies. Turn on the setting for movies and you love watching movies more at home that at the theater. We use the playstation for Blu-ray. When matched up with this TV, we can't get enough. We're always newly impressed with the picture. Sometimes we have to stop the movie and rewatch a certain part because this TV makes it look so good.   All in all I give this TV and A++++!

This tv is amazing. The picture quality is great and the sound is spectacular, especially with surround sound! The only thing that I don't like is the stand it comes with. It doesn't seem to be sturdy enough for such a large tv, so it leans forward.  It comes with an attachment, I would assume, is for this issue. So it's really not that big of a problem. If you are going to mount it on the wall, don't even worry about it.

I was skeptical to say the least that an hd tv really mattered.  Let me tell you, this tv converted me!  It has a very clear, crisp picture and makes anything you watch that much better!  I am so impressed with Samsung and will defintiley consider them when the time comes to buy a new tv again!  It doesn't matter what time of day it is, or where the sun is shining, the picture is always good.  There is no glare on the screen (even with a window directly across from it).  It is lightweight, yet sturdy enough that I don't have to worry about my boys hurting it.  I love how large the screen is and would definitley say that if you aren't sure about a larger screen television, that it is the way too go.  We got an amazing price on it, but it would have definitley been worth the price that it runs for in most stores.  It is easy to set up, and looks sleek with the stand or on a walmount (which is what we have ours on).  This television is built to last and I don't see us getting rid of it anytime soon.  If you are on the fence, and can't decide if this is the way you want to go, jump off the fence because this is your new tv!
