My son gave me this tv as a gift for my birthday! This is the first flat panel tv I have ever owned. Have you ever seen a 63 year old eyes sparkle? I was so amazed when the TV was hooked up and turned on! The picture...beautiful! I love this TV! Picture Quality The picture quality on this television is perfect! I have never seen such a crisp, clear picture on a tv before! Movies are so much more clearer, just watching commercials with water is such a sight! The water looks so pretty, the range of colors, amazing! When watching my regular series on the tv, it's a difference of night and day from my other tv. Faces look so clear, it's like they are in the same room with you. Sound Quality The sound quality is perfect. I don't have to turn it up to hear. The action movies with all the sound effects, make you feel like they are in the room. Talk about keeping you on the edge of your seat!! Durability I have only had this tv for a couple of months, but so far no problems. This is a well made tv, and I know I will enjoy it for many years. Design I love the design. This flat panel tv doesn't take up room, I love the slim design. It looks so high tech, yet pretty amazing! My son is going to attach it to the wall, for me, I love that option! Performance This tv was so easy to hook up my satellite box, dvd, and wii system to. Easy to program my satellite remote to so I only have to use one remote. All in All this tv is amazing! You can trust the brand Samsung for its quality! If you want a amazing tv with fantastic picture and sound quality...this ones for you!

Has a gorgeous display, easy to set, has mine set up within minutes. My only disappointment was with the sound, the speaker is in the back, and the sound seem to be low at times. Picture Quality One of the best display I ever seen just a gorgeous quality. Sound Quality sound can be a muffle.

We were looking for a tv alot and finally decided to purchase this one. I am so glad we did!! Our living room is not big so 40 inch was plenty for us. I love the design of this tv, it is thin and very good looking. I always prefer the samsung brand for tvs and I love that I chose this brand. The picture quality is great it is very clear and has lighting adjustment. It is not super heavy and came with brackets to put on the wall, which we did buy a seperate tv wall mount and put it on the wall and it is perfect. I recommend it because this is a great tv. Picture Quality picture quality is excellent. Everything is super clear and easy to see. Sound Quality Love the sound quality, easy to hear and very clear to hear everything. I have nothing to complain about :) Durability We have this for about 3 months so I hope it will last us a long time, it does seem very durable and it should last for many years. I paid quite a bit for this tv when it came out and have thoroughly enjoyed my tv viewing experience. The picture quality is top notch and hooking up my hdmi cables has never been easier. I've had the tv on a stand since I purchased it and never had a problem with it. I would definitely recommend it!

We saw this television on sale and decided to buy it as a replacement for our living television. This was my first flat screen tv to purchase. I love how it is lightweight, slender, and easy to move around if needed. It was very easy to assemble & came with brackets to optionally mount on my wall. The screen has great picture quality. It is bright and clear. It is one of the clearest pictures that I have ever had the pleasure of owning. The only really negative thing I have to say is that the sound is a little weak for my taste but I have surround sound so that's really not a big issue. In all I'm very pleased with this tv and feel it was a great deal for the price.

I got this samsung 40 inch flat panel LED tv almost over a year ago and i absolutely love it. It has very nice picture quality. I asked the sales person at the retailer stores like best buy and h.h.greg and they said that samsung is the best name is the LED technology. This tv has only around 1 and 1/2 inch depth so it is ultra thin and was very easy to mount on wall and very light in weight as well. Although i agree that sound quality could be much better, but again i am using it for my bedroom and it doesn't need home theater style voice, so i think for this price and size and for the related room, this is definetely very good and economical and the best television.

I have had this TV for 3 years. It has good picture quality and sound. However, after only 3 years the buttons on the side of the TV do not always work. Because of the setup I have, I have to use the buttons to switch between TV and DVDs. Sometimes when I push those buttons, they work, other times they do not. One example is the power button. At times it will turn the TV off, other times when I push the power button, it will try to switch modes, and still other times it will take me to another menu entirely. It is very frustrating at times. The sound is also sometimes not very good. Up until this point, I have been very happy with this TV. It was a good size, with a good picture and sound, and I liked the fact that it swivels easily. But I am unhappy that it is only 3 years old and we are already having problems with it. Sound Quality At times it will have a slight buzzing sound. It does not happen all the time, it is occasional, but it is very annoying when it happens.

I was in the market for a new TV after my Insignia's speakers started to go out. Luckily, because it was under warranty I got to get a free replacement of the same price. With so many TV's have the ability to connect to the internet and have apps available, I looked around. Samsung consistently came up with the best app market and reliability as far as SMART features goes. I took a leap and bought this 40-inch Samsung and was amazed with the picture quality of their LED series with the convenience of the SMART features. Now I can access Netflix, Pandora, Facebook and so much more with a few clicks of the remote without having to access my laptop. The picture quality has been a HUGE step up from my previous TV and will see a lower electricity bill with LED technology. I recommend this TV to anyone.

We own 2 of the Samsung LED Tv's now this one and an even bigger one and I love them. My sister who's husband is a tech geek even likes our tv's and is always so amazed at the clarity with it. if you have that in your Blu-ray player, you don't need it in your TV as well. And some of us don't care about watching streaming movies over the net, some of us don't have good enough broadband connections where we live to support that anyway. And some of us BUY blu-ray movies that we like. So enough about internet bloody apps. The biggest complaint about this set offered by some is the fact that it only has 2 HDMI ports. And that could be a problem for some. But if you control all of your gear (like I do) through your A/V receiver, you only need ONE HDMI going into the TV anyway. If you've got to plug all of your high-def gear right into the TV, and you've got more than 2 HDMI devices, this TV is not for you, find another. So enough about only 2 HDMI ports. The picture quality of this TV is AMAZING. The total evenness of the backlight, especially during a pitch black scene, or when the background is totally black, is amazing. Total blackness with no uneven lighting at all...ANYWHERE on the screen, even edges and corners. I haven't seen a TV that can compare to this one in that respect. The set has MANY full manual picture controls and tweaks, and some advanced ones, or three pre-programed modes that you can still tweak. You don't have to settle for what the TV maker says is good, although Samsung's modes are pretty darn good, right out of the box. The "dynamic" mode is a little contrasty for my taste though.
