Lucky me. I scored this television from a friend of mine who was moving and was looking for a buyer for this television of her. I was using the Samsung HDTV 32" at that time and who doesn't like big screen and that too when you have to spend much lesser that required. The television was in good condition, seldom used, no visible marks and felt like a good deal to me. So there I was making the purchase and it is a superb TV to go with. This time I was like I am not gonna change it until something excellent comes out in the market but that did not happen. Well with this one, it has an amazing picture quality but sound that be little better. I truly have had no issues with this one as well and honestly I do not see a whole lot of differences when it comes to HDTVs. I just change them in order to have better viewing experience, else 23" HDTV LCD is as good at the one I have right now. I recommend this product, especially because I got it for a good price and did not feel bad when had to sell it to get a new one.

This TV has excellent picture quality and was very easy to set up. The sound is clear but could be stronger. Overall, it is a beautiful TV for a great price. I have had this TV for over a year and there has been no change in picture quality. I also love the fact this 40" TV is light and manageable.Samsung has a quality product. Picture Quality This TV has perfect, crisp, bright, vibrant. excellent colors and the images are crisp and not distorted. Sound Quality The sound is clear but could be stronger by possibly re-positioning the speaker. Durability This set seems sturdy, although I would not subject any TV to much abuse. It does maintains settings with no need for adjustments when moving the set for any reason. Design This TV has a very sleek design without much excess frame. The simple stand is sturdy but does not detract from picture. Performance This TV offers consistent good color and picture quality. It is also great for playing Wii games. It has easy to use remote functions. This TV has been functioning perfectly for over a year in a room that is not climate controlled and thus the temperature seasonally varies from 55- 95 degrees F. - depending on the outdoor temperature.

In terms of the TV itself, I love it. It has great graphics, beautiful colors and many options for device connectivity (2 components, and HDMI and an AV). We have the following components hooked up all at once: a Roku, VCR, DVD player and surround sound system. It's GREAT. Even from the sides you can see the picture perfectly (some TVs get dark if you look from the side). What I don't like about this TV is that Samsung has a poor lineup of apps. That's why we had to buy a Roku. Plus, the wi-fi connector that we bought was a Samsung (we were told you could only use a Samsung wi-fi connector) and it isn't any good. So, we use the Roku and that works perfectly. Otherwise, this TV is great and I would recommend anyone buy one!
