This tablet is certainly better than most other tablets on the market. If you are simply an android fan over apple, I would definitely recommend it. There is no better android tablet out there, in my opinion. However, I think that for the price, the iPad is a better option if you have no preference of apple or android or if you have other devices that are run by apple. I made the switch back to apple because it can easily connect between my iPad, iPhone, and iMac. The Samsung Galaxy tablet is, however, a quality tablet. It has many features and is much better speed wise than any other tablet I have used. I also like the fact that Samsung uses the gorilla glass instead of the same thin glass that apple uses on it's products. I feel like apple products are a lot more delicate than Samsung products. I don't even keep my galaxy tab in a case because I am confident that it is durable for light every day use. If you are an android fan, this tablet is the one for you.

I spent nearly three months looking for a tablet to purchase for an older relative. Most of what I looked at didn't fit what she wanted her tablet to do, so as a last resort I bought this Samsung tablet and set it up with the apps and games that she had requested her tablet be able to run. I was impressed at how easy it was to set up so that she would be able to use it. Being a little older than the usual tablet user, I thought it might be hard for her to get the hang of using it. But that wasn't the case. It was so easy to help her get started on it. The tablet is easy to use- I use it on a semi regular basis as well. The speakers are loud and clear which makes watching movies or listening to music easy. The video quality is good as well. Some tablets don't play videos as well - but this lives up to the Samsung playing quality. I did buy a cover for it- because my relative does dialysis and needed something to entertain herself with while she was there, she dropped it before I had bought the cover and it did get dinged. So I would advise that you get the case at the same time so that you can avoid the ding. The processor is fast, it easily connects to WiFi and it works well even handling multiple apps air tasks at once. While it's easy enough for older people to use. I use it often and so does my daughter. So it appeals to a wide range of people. Overall, it was a good investiment. I would suggest keeping it plugged in whenever possible to keep the battery lasting longer.

I currently use a Samsung S5 phone and when I went to look for a tablet, I was considering the Samsung tablet or the Apple iPad. I went with the Samsung to keep my devices consistent and I am so happy! The best part of Samsung products is their "super AMOLED" display, which is why colors pop more and are more vibrant. They also have fast processing speeds. I also love the camera on the tablet. If you own one Samsung product, you will know how to use all Samsung products, particularly since it is the same line as the "S" series of the phone. The size is also perfect for me, not too small and not too bulky. It's slim, slick and easy to grip. I use my tablet primarily for videos and streaming music and it is very fast, as far as the processing speed. If you are an Android user, I highly recommend this tablet. And even if you're not, it's worth a consideration.
