my exp Galaxy Tab Pro -32

the Tab Pro 12.2 with the idea of using it as a second screen at the office, as the 8-inch Tab 3 I had was a bit too small for my office needs. I quickly discovered that the Tab Pro is a little workhorse all on its own, and I'm using it a surprising amount of the time in place of my office PC. I did find the Hancom Office app, which is pre-loaded on the Tab 12.2, to be severely lacking in function and usability. I switched over to the Kingsoft app and haven't looked back. That made a huge difference in the ability to productively edit more Be aware, however, that there are only a limited number of mutli-window-capable apps right now. If you want to view two web pages in Multi-window simultaneously, you'll need to open two different browsers. Need to print out what you're working on? That also works very nicely (provided you have a wifi printer that you can connect to.) You'll need one of the apps at the Play store to do it, but it worked flawlessly for me. The charge on this is pretty decent - it lasts all day without having to plug into a charger, and that's with the screen on a good portion of the time. This battery has a pretty big capacity, but the downside is that the time to charge a nearly-dead battery might be longer than you expect (I believe around 6 hours at minimum). My 2 year old laptop was topping out at around 2.5 hours of run time, even with a fairly new battery, so this is a huge plus for me. What I love about this tablet is that I get everything that's awesome about Android combined with the productivity tools of a PC, on a tablet that i don't have to squint over. While my office PC is stalling while it updates windows, download the latest antivirus updates, or whatever else it wants to do during bootup, thanks to the Tab, by the time the PC is ready to go, I've already checked and responded to email, critiqued documents sent by colleagues, and caught up on the latest news in my field. I agree, it's not the most portable Tab out there - I'd highly recommend taking a look at the 8 inch if you need a tab to constantly carry around with you - but for what it is, it's a thing of beauty. ADDENDUM: Five stars for the ease of contacting Samsung's tech support (24 hours by chat? nice!). One star for the ability to redeem their Samsung Perks.

samsung 12.2 in. Galaxy Note

marketing every day. This tablet, to me, is portable enough to not be a problem or feel like I am lugging around something uncomfortable. I carry a clip board with a few forms and the note pro 12.2 in a slip cover case (until I can get my hands on the book cover case which is back ordered). When I read the initial reviews I was terrified to buy this thing sight unseen as many talked about it being too big or too heavy. It is not too big and the weight feels light next to the surface pro. If you are looking for a large tablet screen...This is for you. Also the large screen allows for the full size keyboard which is nice (this review is being typed on the screen) the difference in the updated interface had me scared. Is it like the new windows tiles? Is it completely different than what I am used to on the Galaxy Note 3 phone? Here is the deal. The Magazine UX is not bad. I am not a fan of the new Microsoft Windows tiles which i had on the Surface Pro. The UI is different and better in my opinion. You can set up your tablet to look almost identical to your Samsung Note phone if that is what you want. There has to be at least one screen of the magazine but to be honest, I have it set up to where I really like it. When I hit the button to go to the home screen it takes me to the same setup I have on my phone which is folders with different apps, time and weather, etc. 32 or 64 GB - Being an early adpoter, the 64gb model was not available on release. It is unlikely that you will be using this tablet to shoot a ton of HD video (which is the biggest storage hog) and with an addition of a 64GB sd card that you can swap out if needed, 32gb device memory works just fine. WiFi or 4G - that depends on your needs but if you can use your phone as a hotspot, why pay extra for a cell radio in the device plus pay more to add it to a cell plan? The answer for my needs was WiFi works perfect and tethers with my phone on the road. I can't say much about the battery life yet as I have only charged it once. CONCLUSION - I was disappointed in the info updates on this device before the US release. All of the videos and reports were all from CES and there were no new hands on reports. I can tell you that this device has a premium price but also carries premium capabilities. If you just want to update a status on Facebook

good tablet

This tablet is actually my boyfriends tablet. He was lucky enough to get it using points he got from work. So, being what was essentially a free tablet, we have no complaints about it. I'm not really an electronics person and I honestly don't really know anything about electronics or differences between different tablet brands, models, etc. That being said, I think the tablet works well. The screen is very clear and it has a great picture. It's fast and everything loads quickly and works well on it. It's also a perfect size. It is super portable, I can bring it to work with me, on road trips, or anywhere really. Yet, it's still big enough to do everything I want on it without straining my eyes etc (like on a smart phone).

Galaxy Tab is far out!

I didn't think I would like this tablet. I have never been a big fan of Samsung, I think that they are mostly overrated and I prefer Apple, but I got a really good deal on this and I decided to see what all the hype was about. We added extra memory as my kids love to store games and pictures and watch videos. They love it. It can play YouTube, download and play games, take and save pics, edit the pics, basically everything they want to do online they can do with this tablet. The only thing that I regret is that I did not buy 2 of them because my 2 fight like heck over it!

The little giant.

I bought this little tablet for the sole purpose of watching movies late at night in bed without disturbing others. I have been very pleased with the product and have since bought another one for my son as well. I was very pleased upon opening the package that it had a keyboard built into the cover. I must admit I didn't know a lot about this unit when I purchased it, I bought it strictly based on price while it was on sale. I am also very pleased and surprised at the battery life of this unit, it stays powered longer than nearly all of my other devices including my smart phone. If I have any complaint with this product it would be the lack of USB ports, a single port would have been a much needed addition for a mouse or other peripherals. Overall I am very happy with the product and would definitely buy another one.
