This is a great little potty. I used the same one for two of my kids. The seat is detachable and will reattach to an actual toilet, so it is easy to transition from training potty to toilet. The potty itself also doubles as a step stool! I love multi-functional products!! With my first child I followed all the appropriate steps...first the little potty, then on the toilet with the seat. By the time my second child was ready to potty train I was so tired of cleaning pee and poop out of the potty, I decided to try a new tactic. I put the seat on the toilet and let her use the step stool to climb up on the toilet and it provided a foot rest and a way for her to get down when she was finished. It worked perfectly! My kids still use the stool for teeth- brushing, etc. On the negative side, the hole in the seat is very small. It became nearly impossible for the kids to use the potty without getting it on the seat. This means a lot of extra cleaning for mom, so I recommend switching to one of the seats with handles if your child becomes to big for this seat.

I thought this was a really good product but my son hated it. Doesn't work to well when the kid refuses to sit on it but did love playing with it. I did like the pad idea but my son kept removing it. The child can't sit on it without the cushion do to the ring at the top of the hard plastic that the ring sits it this made it more then uncomfortable for him to use it

This potty is so easy to use! We have twins a boy and a girl, and they have no problems using this by themselves if we are busy doing something! They can go in and lift the lid and move the seat to where they need it. If we need a new potty for whatever reason we would buy this again!

We bought the Safety 1st 3-1 Potty Chair when my oldest was starting potty training and it worked out great for us plus lasted through 2 boys potty training and still is in great condition. The things i like about it is it can be used as a little potty for the child or the seat part can be put on a big commode and lastly the bottom can be used as a stepping stool. For the price of it it's a great value to be used as all 3. With my youngest he was a little scared to sit on the big potty,so having it all as one worked out really well to begin the potty training. After he got used to it & liked feeling like a big kids we changed it so he could use the big commode and the bottom part acted as a stepping stool for him to get onto the commode as well as using it at the sink and being a big boy helping me around the house. Another good thing about it is the pot that catches everything can be easily lifted out to avoid messes when its being used as one and also comes apart very easy for cleaning.The only things is i think they might have been more into first using the potty had it been one that made some sort of music etc when they used the potty or had some sort of design on it rather than just being blue and white,but for the price of it it's worth it because all you have to do is be creative on getting them into it,so i highly recommend it.

The Safey 1st Comfy Cushion Potty Seat is awesome. It comes with two little side handles (one on each side) so that little ones that may need some extra balancing having something to hold on to. There is a little bit of protection (pee guard), but what I love about this potty seat is that the pee does not end up all over the toilet seat and then you still have to clean it up like another potty seat that we have. What I also love is that this potty seat converts any regular-sized toilet seat into a seat for little ones. As your little one gets older, they will be able to place the potty seat on top of the adult-sized toilet seat. There are some rubber feet that you are given so that the seat stays in place. It is extremely easy to clean and it also seems comfortable. It is not a fancy seat by any means, but it really works great. It is lightweight and if you are travelling with little ones, it is very easy to travel with.

This is a very functional potty chair. I love the feature that fits on the "big potty" and the cushy seat. It is kind of a weird shape for a step stool but it is nice to transition from little potty to big potty with.

I wanted to get my daughter potty trained early so that we could save money on disposable diapers and not have the inconvenience of cloth diapers.  I went to the store on a very strict budget (my diaper budget for the week) and looked at what they had to offer. When I saw the "3-in-1" my first thought was, "Great, this'll save us a lot of money in the long run!  We won't have to buy a second seat to put on the potty when she's older and we'll have a step stool when we're done!"  My second thought was, "But it's cheap, it'll probably be inconvenient in some way."  And, finally, my third thought was, "We're broke.  I can deal with the inconvenience." Well, I should have just stuck with the first thought.  These things are very convenient for using both as a potty itself in the playroom and then carrying to the "big potty" at other times.  They're also easy to clean and sturdy enough for their use. The only drawbacks I would give this product are that it's not especially pretty and I would rather have a cushy seat or the option for one.

I have 2 of these potty chairs. My husband & I keep them in our cars. They work very well since they have lids on them & can be closed after use. I use small garbage bags in the potty for easy clean up.

We bought this for our daughter when she was 19 months old. I love how the Safety 1st Comfy Cushion 3 in 1 Potty chair can be used as your child grows. It is a regular potty chair with a comfort cushion ring. You can turn the cushion ring around for either boys or girls. There is a splash guard for the boys on one side. When your child starts using the real toilet, you can hook the seat to the toilet and add the cushion ring so they feel more comfortable. My daughter was always afraid she would fall in, so this helped to transition her to the real toilet easier. The base of the potty chair can be used as a step stool to get up to the toilet or sink. My daughter is 4 1/2 and still used the step stool to reach the sink to wash her hands and brush her teeth. I think this is a great little potty chair and would recommend it to anyone!

I bought this potty for my three year old when he was about 20 months old, and we only used it a very short time. I picked this potty because of it's versatility, but was disappointed with the quality. The good things about this potty seat are the fact that it does have the option to transition from a potty training seat, to the big toilet. Unfortunately the ring for the big toilet didn't fit ours properly and was a pain to get on and off for other people besides my son to use, that we quit using it after a short time. Another good thing about this potty is the fact that it turns into a stool. It means less to store in the bathroom and longer use from the product. We no longer use it as a potty, but we are still using it as a stool for our kids. The negetives of this product are, the actual potty ring for the child to sit on is pretty small. It can make a mess since the hole is only so big, and by the time my son was 2 he was really too big to use it properly. The other negetive is it is a little bulky. It took up alot of room once the lid was opened up for use. We have a small bathroom and it was hard to manuver. Overall I would skip the potty seat all together and go for a potty ring that fits on the big toilet from the start. It's much better than cleaning out the bowl everytime your child goes!
