Ryobi Cordless Tool Set

This is one of the best investments I have ever made. Great tools and great performance. The circular saw is small and great for smaller home projects. It does tend to use up the battery faster than the other tools. it's not the most powerful saw I've ever used but will do the job. have extra charged batteries if you plan on doing lot's of cutting. An extra or double charger is a good idea as well. The reciprocating saw is great for things like sawing down small trees or cutting small to medium branches off. The drill is really good too and will hold a charge a long time with the Ni Cad batteries. I would recommend having a few extra batteries as it does take well over an hour to charge. The drill is a bit heavy and you need about 14" of space to comfortably work in. The flashlight is a very cool light as it fits perfectly into my hand and is adjustable. If your power ever goes out, you'll be very glad you have this flashlight.

All You Need!

The Ryobi Cordless Tool set I received over 3 years ago as a gift, was possibly the best gift I've ever gotten! It has a drill, vacuum, flashlight, 2 saws, 2 batteries and a charger. I'm the "Fix-it" guy at home and to most everyone I know. I use these tools several time weekly and have never had a problem with any of them. The batteries have lasted and that was a surprise. The tools are used for all kinds of jobs in all kinds of conditions and have definately been worth their cost. I would recommend that any "Mr. or Ms. Fix-It" own a set of these. Even my wife uses the drill, flash light and vacuum--she'd use the saws if I let her! This product is worth the money, easy to use, has great durability and sustainability. I own many, many tools, but this one set has all my favorites. Thanks to Ryobi!

You get what you pay for.

Ryobi Cordless tools are... well, you get what you pay for. I'm sure the Handyman Bob would probably go with a Dewalt or maybe even Ridged, but for the average home, these tools will work great for occasional use. They are not the world's cheapest tools but don't expect an amazing life out of them.   That said, they will cut through whatever you needed cut, drill what you wanted drilled, and probably surprise you on their battery life.  The biggest problem with this set is the quality of materials used to build them. They feel like plastic, and look the same. The internal parts, I'm sure, are metal but I'm sure its not real high strength metal. I still have my drill, and it works great. However, my circular saw broke after several months. So you if plan on heavy use, go with a higher quality tool set. But if you are looking for something to keep in storage and pull out once a month to hang pictures or cut a shelf, by all means it is great!    Again, you get what you pay for.

Often its hard to know what tool to buy, what will be the right tool for the job. With the **Ryobi Cordless Tool Set, **its easy. You have all the tools you need for most projects around the house. The drill is the go too tool, I use it for simple repairs, complex building or just to hang a picture. The keyless chuck makes it easy to change bits quickly when working on that swing set that needs holes drilles, screws put in or lag bolts tightened. Its powerful enough to drive a three inch screw and fast enough to drill through metal. The reciprocating saw works well and my favorite attachement for it is the tree branch cutting tool. I can trim the trees in half the time. The circurlar saw is ok for small jobs but not that great for large sheets of plywood. The flashlight works fine when the power goes out or to shine some light under the counter when working on the sink. The batteriers charge quickly but you will only get a couple of years out of them before needing to be replaced. Over all its a great set for the price. The only down fall is the drill is a bit heavy for my wife.

I have had my Ryobi set for about 5 years, now and use it all the time.  I am a creative widow, and there are a lot of little projects that I am happy to say I did it myself!  I have used all of the tools, and even have purchased an additional battery, so I always have an extra

Ryobi - Great Set At A Great Price!

5

I have had the Ryobi Cordless 5 tool set for over 3 years and I cannot say enough good things about the quality of tools that Ryobi makes. I have used these A LOT, and they are stioll working just fine and have not had any problems with them. This is the only drill, flashlight, and sawzall - the ones that came in this set. I have to say, I only used the vacuum maybe once since I have a Shop Vac. And I used to use the circular saw all the time ntil I got a Skill Magg 77 which I use all the time now. But the other 3 tools in the set, are my main tools that I use when I need a flashlight, drill, or sawzall and they have not let me down yet. I keep one battery on the charger all the time so it is always ready and one in the tool that I used last, and this works great. When one battery dies, the other is ready to go without stopping. This set has come down quite a bit in price since I bought it, and I have been tempted to buy another just to have it just in case, but the one I have is working like brand new, that I can't justify replaciing it. Use this set all the time, like I said and Ryobi has a customer for life since I am more than satisfied with the way these tools have performed and lasted. Great quality and craftsmanship.
