Someone kindly made me some exotic dinner which they wanted me to try and the dinner came over in a Rubbermaid Premier Storage Container. The dinner was exquisite but I was equally fascinated by the container it came in, so much so that I went out and purchased a set of my own! They seem so much more durable and hard wearing than the other containers out there these days. The lids close onto the container with such perfection and "suction" that it took me longer to remove the lid than on other brands. They don't crack or bend as easily as some other brands which I think makes them longer lasting. What they are so well known for is that they're second to none at stacking, whether that's filled in the freezer or empty in the cabinets where you neatly stack them one inside the other. I have frozen them, microwaved them, served dinner in them and cleaned them in the dishwasher. I would indeed pay more for this brand.

I must say I have one favorite type of plastic storage container. So, I was a little hesitate when I purchased these wondering if they were going to work as well and hold up to my expectations. Fortunately, they did. They have a super tight grip on them that things do not spill out of them. I found that they have a nice tight seal on them that I can be confident that they will not leak while holding soups, stews or liquids. My wife often uses these to send my lunch to work in. They fit nicely in the fridge and do not take up much room. They clean very easily, do not need to use a harsh sponge to get any dried food off. Most everything comes off with a mild soap and water. I find that they do not stain easily which is always a plus when using it to store spaghetti or other foods that usually stain. They stack very nicely when putting away in your cabinets. They stack nicely inside of each other and so do the lids. They are a little bit more money then your usual plastic containers but are of a much thicker plastic that holds heated items much better. Overall, I think they are worth the money.

I can not even count the about of Rubbermaid storage containers I have bought over the years. I buy at least some pretty much every year. They are inexpensive and they tend to get lost, or over time the begin to bend or break and sometimes they will get mis-shapened if you put the in the dishwasher. Although for the most part they are dishwasher safe. The lids get broken, but they do take a lot of abuse, but they are not meant to last forever, and you kind of expect that they are going to get lost. it is a good thing that they are relatively cheap, because if they do get broken or lost it's not going to break the bank to replace them. Rubbermaid storage containers come in different sizes. Mostly they are clear bur from time to time you can find them in other colors. The lids seal on pretty tight. You can take them from the freezer, to the fridge, to the microwave with no problem, just remove the lid when microwaving. If you do nuke them for too long you can burn your food on to them and then they will not work great after that. They are also dishwasher safe but if you want them to last longer wash them by hand, only place them on the top of the machine away from the element. The many different sizes are wonderful for pretty much anything you need them for. Like I said they are not going to last you years and years, unless you take really, really good care of them and never let anyone take them out of the house. But let's face it you need something that you can take things out of the house in or pack someone up some food in that is not going to be stressful to you if you lose and Rubbermaid storage containers are perfect for that.

I, like many others, are extremely pleased with these, but I don't have a red kitchen and I don't want a red set. Black (graphite) was so generic, why would they discontinue it and keep the red? Rubbermaid - you make no sense to me.

Cooking meals in the evening is something that I really enjoy doing for my family. However, it can be a bit much to do that time of the day. I do not need any extra work when doing it. The Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers lighten that load so I can still enjoy the cooking and the reason I am doing it, my family! How do you say? Well, the little containers look nice so I serve in them. Therefore, there are less dishes to wash. What ever is left over stays right in the Premier container, the lid goes on and it goes right to the fridge. The Premier Containers have a lid that seals and the containers are not only stackable but they lock together to prevent knocking them over and then they go every where.The Premier Containers are a clear plastic so you can see what is in the container. They are available in various sizes also. These containers do not stain like some of my other containers do. I love this product and I think you will also. I recommend the Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers.

For the longest time I have looked for a container like this. I am tired of spending money on contaniers that leak, the lids do not fit right, that drip all over the place and stain. I have tried many brands with no success. Sure they are all great the first two or three times you use them but then they start to warp, etc. I do a lot of make ahead meals for the freezer and these work out just great. You can easiy stack them so you can see what is in there and they are great for saving space as well. I was hesitant to try them as they are a bit on the pricey side. But they were on sale in the grocery store and I had a coupon so I gave them a shot and I was glad I did. I am very happy as they do not stain from tomato sauce and always loook fresh.

The Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers are a great quality food storage container. They are very sturdy and I have never had one crack. The lids seal tight and I can put soups and other liquids in without being concerned it'll leak. The one thing I like best about the Rubbermaid Premier containers is that they never stain. They are my first choice for food storage when I have leftover lasagna or anything else with a red sauce. They wash up really well too. The one thing that I does disappoint me about the Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers is that they are made with BPA's. I have had mine for a while now and the set I have does have BPA's. I'm not sure if they've changed their product to remove the BPA's yet or not.

For many years I relied on Tupperware until I rediscovered Rubbermaid products. I can look back and see the foolishness in spending a fortune on Tupperware when Rubbermaid satisfied all the storage needs I had at a far less expense. These Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers are durable, well designed, attractive and a perfect size. They don't seem to stain as badly as some of the Tupperware stains. The storage container seals fit nice and tightly. I love how they stack and of course the price is so reasonable. If I give my daughter some left overs and never get the container back, I know it's because she likes the containers too! Given the price, it's not a big deal when I don't get it back. If I take it to work and misplace it, again, I'm not heartbroken because it was not a fortune to purchase. I have these in almost every size they come in. They stack well in the refrigerator and pantry taking up little space yet keeping the food fresh and protected. Will buy over and over again. I also love the fact that Rubbermaid uses recycled plastice to make outdoor toys and furniture! Yeah Rubbermaid!

I have tried everything when it comes to containers to store leftovers and extras in.  I had been using the re-useable/disposable ones for a while, but eventually they warped or started feeling "thin".  I didn't like having to throw them away when they became unusable and wanted a nice set of "permanent" storage containers.  Though I hated the idea of spending the amount of money that a set of TupperWare was going to cost.  I came across a set of RubberMaid Premier Storage Containers on sale and figured why not?  The price was right and they couldn't be any worse than what I had already tried. The containers are rigid plastic.  The set I bought contained several sizes, each with lids.  Even the smallest sized container is large enough to be useful.  The smallest ones are the perfect size to pack my son's snacks for school.  The largest ones are ideal for large amounts of leftovers or pre-making meals to freeze.  I have a container sized for everything I may need.  The containers are clear so it's easy to identify exactly what's inside without having to open them.  They go from the 'fridge or freezer to the microwave to the dishwasher with no problems.  I've had tomato sauces stored in them, which would have stained my other containers.  It washes completely off of these.  They've even come perfectly clean from the few times I've started a science experiment in the back of my 'fridge.  These lids are the easiest to get on and off of any storage container I've ever had!  They stay on securely and I've had no problems with warping or melting in the dishwasher. If you want a good set of storage containers, the RubberMaid Premier Storage Containers are the way to go!

From time to time, I prepare food for catering and event functions, in addition to my everyday meals.  Therefore, I'm always on the lookout for great storage containers that can be used for everything from prepped raw ingredients to pre-cooked fillings, sauces, soups, stews and more.  I am also obsessive about keeping my cabinets tidy, so I need to be able to have large quantities of storage containers available in multiple sizes, but easily organized. The Rubbermaid Premier Storage Containers definitely fit the bill!  Made of heavy duty crystal clear plastic, they are much sturdier than the Takealong product.  The lids are heavy clear plastic rimmed by a super tough rubber (I've seen in both black and red colors).  The rubber forms an airtight seal, but is flexible enough to be easy to open without worrying about cracking the lid.  True to Rubbermaid's promise, the containers are stain-free and do not retain odors.  They move from freezer to microwave to dishwasher with ease.  The lids stack together, along with the appropriate sized containers, so you don't have to worry about grabbing the wrong size or having them fall over.  I even use the larger sizes to make granita in the freezer, as they don't pick up odors from the fruit or from anything else in the freezer, and it's easy to pop the lid on and off as you form the granita crystals.  As a bonus, the product is made in the USA and is also NSF certified, for those who do any professional or commercial cooking.
