I bought this iron thinking it had to be good because of the brand and the price...get what you pay for, right? NOT. It took me weeks to figure out that the thing was too hot on every setting, and didn't take out wrinkles without scorching. Then after only two years it leaked a flood onto my ironing board every time I used it. Fed up, I bought a Black & Decker D2030 with hundreds of good reviews. LOVE it on every level from the first moment I plugged it in. Couldn't throw this Rowenta away fast or far enough!! Performance Couldn't get out any wrinkles. Spits and sputters. Two years old and leaking. Safety Top heavy iron falls over easily. Ease of Cleaning The steam clean function doesn't work. Worthless. Ease of Use Very heavy to lift. Durability No good, worn out after only two years. Design Looks cool. That is about all that I can say for it.

I am writing this review of Rowenta iron DZ2060 before I throw it in the garbage. The on/off switch had a mind of its own. Thus, the steam would turn to water and the iron did not maintain its temperature. The Rowenta customer service agent assured me it could be fixed at the repair facility. I sent the iron to the repair facility at my cost. The iron was returned quickly with a new auto on-off switch. Unfortunately, the new on/off switch went on and off on its own. I found a 12 year-old Black and Decker steam iron that I purchased for my son's college years in my basement. My clothes look pressed now after I iron.

    I love this iron, just like I said it makes ironing fun! I'm a very busy person but I love organised and neat places, I am the sort of person that irons all my clothes even my sleepwear and underwears sometimes. Rowenta actisteam is very easy to fill with water because it comes with a sleek cup and a slanting hole on the iron. The face of the iron is non stick and self cleaning. The body of the iron is made of high density plastic material that does not heat up, so there is reduced chances of being burnt by the iron during the course of ironing.The cords are long enough and they do not twist (twisting of cords is always a source of annoyance for me). Your clothes are straightened with so much ease of glide and very little effort. The steam can cover a large amount of clothing and even the most rumpled clothing is sraightened in the least amount of time required. when I first started using the iron, I found it very heavy because the one I had before was light, but with continued use, I found the weight keeps me grounded and helps reduce most minor accidents from ironing

I used to hate ironing, and would avoid doing it as much as possible. My husband and I would actually bicker over who was going to do it. Then finally our iron broke and it was time for a new one. I purchased the Self clean rowenta autosteam iron. I can't believe how quickly I'm able to get clothes and blankets ironed. It has cut my time more than just in half. The settings are so easy to figure out, you can practically leave it on one setting for all items!! Thanks to this product it has given me more time to do what I like, and it has definitely reduced my stress when it comes to chores.
