I LOVE my roomba! I would be completely lost without it! We have a crazy busy household with my outdoorsman husband, my sports loving kids, a long haired inside/outside dog, and a medium haired cat. I have an extremely messy bunch and they are in and out of the house constantly and being a new mess with them several times a day and somehow this vacuum keeps up! I fell in love with it after day 1 when it vacuumed under my bed and came out with a ridiculous amount of cat hair. Apparently it is the cat's favorite hiding spot but it is a king sized bed and I almost never clean underneath it (or even knew it was so dirty!) I run the vacuum two or three times a day and I empty so much pet hair from the bin that it is almost embarrassing! However, it does such a great job that I'm pretty sure no one would ever guess the pets she'd so much hair! It can be programmed to run on a schedule but I never know what the kids or my husband have thrown on the floor so I always just turn it on manually. It has lasted about a year and a half and that it is amazing that it never misses a beat because I'm pretty sure I work that thing harder than anyone has ever worked a vaccum in the history of the world. The only downfall is that it is extremely noisy. We use it so often that we don't even hear it running because we are used to it but if I am on the phone and I have the kids in the house and the vacuum running I usually shut it off so I can hear better. I also have gone through tons and tons and tons of filters but i can't complain too much because it keeps our floors cleaner than I could if I had to manually vacuum all day long! It goes through three main rooms but occasionally can't find its dock if it travels to the back of the house. I also have two rugs that are contrasting dark and light swirls and it gets confused and will ask to be moved to a new location (I think it thinks it has reached a ledge?). The price is a bit hard to swallow at first but it is so worth it!

I just got the irobot Roomba 770 this Summer and I have to say it is truly wonderful. I have been a fan of irobot products for years and this roomba did not ruin my hopes and expectations. When my old roomba model that I had had for about three years broke I felt lost and immediately looked up what the 770 cost. It took a lot of persuasive talks to get permission to buy the roomba 770 for my household so when it arrived I had to prove that it was worth it. I took out the upright vacuum I have and vacuumed the living room with it. Of course, everyone said it looked great. Then I put little roomba to work. I let him go around the room for only about 15 minutes then I picked him up and showed everyone what he had collected. Remember this was after I had JUST vacuumed the room. Roomba's dirt bin was about half full of pet hair, dirt, and dust! Everyone was really amazed, I got to keep the roomba 770 and now my household members are all great irobot fans. Ease of Maintenance Spins 360, goes forward and back and seems to cover the whole room. Suction Performance More suction than my eureka upright professional vacuum. Design Super slick! Durability Actually seems more durable than past roombas.

We like this roomba as it cleans hard to reach places like under beds and bureaus. We are having a tough time figuring out it's pattern as it misses spots. The only negative we have found so far is that the dust/dirt bin fills up pretty quickly as it is very small. We wish it was larger so it would run longer. Right now it runs a little bit over an hour before it goes back to the docking station.

If you are like me, and have no time to clean, then this is the perfect vacuum for you. This is genius. It is just like a robot. It cleans the floor for you. What could be better? I am sold on this item. I have a Dyson and love it! But when you just do not have time to maintain the floors this is the perfect solution.

Love this little fellow. Runs for over an hour each time it's scheduled to go. Gets up a lot of dirt for it's size. Maneuverability This can get under things no normal vacuum can. Ease of Maintenance Cleaning the Roomba is 100% easier than cleaning a giant upright. Suction Performance It runs three times a week and fills its bin each time. Versatility Programming a schedule is amazing. Design Perfect. Just perfect. Durability So far so good. We've had the Roomba for a couple months.
