This griddle is great, I use it all the time and I love how well it works, it helps you to cook many foods and is especially good at helping you make wonderful pancakes. If you are searching for a great griddle, look no further, this is the one for you! Performance This griddle works wonderfully, when you cut it on, it takes mere seconds to get really hot and only a minute or two at the most to get to the temperature you need. It doesn't loose heat, and it cooks evenly. I absolutely love how well it works and how efficiently it helps you to make your meals. Durability This product is extremely durable, I use it many, many times and it has stood up to the test and I am so glad it has. Ease of Cleaning The only downside to cleaning this griddle is that it's really too big to put into your dishwasher, so you have to wash it by hand, and even if you have a really large sink it's a little awkward to fit in to wash it but the food doesn't stick on or anything so all in all other than the size of the griddle, cleaning really isn't a big deal. Ease of Use This griddle is really easy to use. You just put a non-stick spray on and cook away, and that's really all you need to do.

The Rival Griddle with Removable Griddle Plates is the best and easiest way to make pancakes. If you try to make pancakes on the stove, it's really time consuming because you can only make one or two at a time. That's why griddles are so convenient. You can make at least six pancakes at one time, or six grilled cheese sandwiches, and you save cooking time in the process. There is a temperature control on the front of the griddle, which allows you to set your desired temperature for the griddle. This seems pretty standard on all griddles, but it is convenient that it's located at the front so you can read it easily. Performance This makes evenly baked pancakes. They do not stick to the pan, and they do not get burned as long as you are watching them and don't leave them on the grill too long. Durability This seems to be very durable. I keep it in a cabinet, and I have not had any problems with it cracking or breaking. Ease of Cleaning This is easy to clean because of the removable grill plates.

My husband and I received the Rival griddle with removable griddle plate for our wedding over five years ago, and it is still going strong. It is rather heavy and bulky to store, but I think the purchase is well worth it because you can cook so many things at the same time. Performance This griddle is great for all kinds of things, but most especially, of course, breakfast foods. We've used it for eggs, bacon, pancakes, and french toast, and they all turn out well. They are easy to flip and remove in one piece because of the griddle's non-stick surface. Durability We have had no problems with this product--it's still in great condition. Ease of Cleaning The removable griddle plate makes it easy to clean since you can plunk it right in the sink. The griddle is nonstick, and most foods slide right off with minimal scrubbing. If there is any splashing of grease from bacon or drips of batter that land on the handles/grill body, it can be more effort-intensive to clean off.

We got this griddle to replace another one that we had to replace. The old one had grease building up on it and the surface was ruined trying to clean it. However, this Rival Griddle has a removable plate which makes all the difference in clean up and how well it'll age. We use this griddle for so often that we leave it on the counter next to the stove. We have a large kitchen so that's not a big deal but even if the kitchen was small, with the amount of use it gets, I would still leave it out. Some of the things we grill the most on it are the following: pancakes, french toast, sausage, grilled cheese sandwich and other sandwich melts, toast bread, and boca burgers. When I use this griddle for pancakes, I add oil to the pancake batter and they come out perfect. It also cuts down on the clean up. When you have 3+ hungry kids wanting pancakes, this thing is a time saver and whips them out fast.

We got the Rival indoor grill as a wedding gift over two years ago and have enjoyed it for making family breakfasts. It works great for making pancakes and, once we figured out the right temperature to cook them at, all the pancakes come out golden delicous! I love the grease trap feature, which is a huge plus in my book for cooking bacon. The grill is at a very slight slant so the grease drains into one corner of the grill and out into a little compartment that you can easily dump out and clean. The only feature I love is that the grill top is detatchable so you can take it off and wash it. The only drawback is that the grill is rather large and takes up a lot of storage space in our small kitchen. It's kind of an effort to get it out so we generally only use it when we're making a big breakfast or having guests over. Overall though, it's just the right thing to make our family happy with a plate full of blueberry pancakes and crispy bacon!

I absolutely love this Rival Indoor Grill.  It is pretty large, so it takes up a lot of room in my small kitchen with limited cupboard space, but it is so worth it.  It's perfect for making pancakes or french toast, and it even comes in handy if I have company over and want to make a bunch of grilled sandwiches.  It's so much better being able to grill a lot of items at once rather than using a small griddle on the stove.  I love that the grill plate is removeable.  It is very easy to take off and wash, and it's really easy to put back on.  My only compaint would be that it doesn't always cook evenly.  The center of the grill definitely cooks hotter than the outside, so I often end up rotating the items I'm cooking in order for them to turn out evenly browned.  I guess that is to be expected on a lot of grills though, even ones on a stovetop.  You definitely can't go wrong in purchasing this grill.  I've had it for four years and it's still going strong.

This griddle has a detachable cooking surface, so you can put it in the dishwasher.  No more greese build up, no more scrapping the surfsce. About time someone came up with this idea! Now my sadwiches, pancakes, french toast, cook up evenly and aren't flavored when the last thing I cooked on my griddle!

  ***I purchased the above item in January 2008. *** ***When I first used my grill, I decided on steak's.  So on one side I grilled my steaks and on the other side my Potatoe's.  I wanted my steak's medim rare and they came out o perfection.  Very tender, and the unit held in all the juices... As for my sliced Potato's they turned out moist but yet came of my grill a nice golden brown.*** ***The other meal I made was hamburger's and grilled onion's.  What I did here was to put a little Virgin Oil on the side I grilled my hamberger and on the other side I just wiped on a little oil from a paper towel.  The hamburger's, and onion's tasted as if I had grilled them outside.  The best meal since the summer.*** *** Let me tell you I had no mess, the drip pan is very large and run's along the whole bottom of grill.  All you do is pull the grill piece up, then remove the whole drip pan.  As for the cover it also just pull's of from the back.  So when you clean it, this item look's brand-new.*** ***I  only  encountered one problem with this product.  If you you don't have a'lote of counter space this item can be a problem for storage and cooking.*** ***Thank's you for a handy device ***
