It's a good nail polish
Rimmel London nail polish is one of the best brands out there, in my opinion. They have a large selection of colors from light and feminine to dark and everything in between. The nail polish goes on really well with only a few strokes for good coverage and dries very quickly. Sometimes I use a second coat for either a very light or very dark color just to make sure it is even, but the medium colors usually only require one coat. I rarely use a clear base coat. One of the absolute best parts of the Rimmel London nail polish is the brush. It's a heavy, thick brush and spreads out to probably about twice its size as you use it. This makes the nail polish extremely quick and easy to apply, and it covers very, very well. With most nail polish, I end up taking it off after about 4 days because of chipping and fading, but I can usually make it at least a week, sometimes more, with Rimmel. The price isn't too bad either, sort of right in the middle of the price range for nail polish in general.
Love these polishes. The colors are true, polish applies easily and evenly without gooping or looking patchy, and it dries in a flash. I'd say lasting power - with a good quality top coat - is on par with many more expensive polishes. These are excellent for a quick touch-up, or a super fast polish job before flying out the door. Most quick-dry polishes are poor quality; these are not.
A friend recommended this product to me so I decided to try it. This product is very rich and thick. The nail brush is also much thicker and bigger than other nail brushes. This allows for much easier application and less time using nail polish remover to fix the edges of my nails. The Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro boasts ten days but mind only lasted about four days. My polish started to chip at the four day mark. The product does seem to take less time to dry than other nail polishes. The price was a little expensive but is a great buy when it is on sale. When using this product make sure not to use more than two coats because the appearance will start to cake up after that. The bottle that the polish comes in is fancy and the square bottle promotes an appearance of more product. I will definitely use this product again because it is thick and two coats are more than enough. I have purchased three other bottles since my first purchase.
I love Rimmel polishes! The only downside to them is that most of the places I see them sold don't carry enough color selection. I'll have to start buying them online! The Rimmel brush is absolutely perfect. It's slightly arched, and is square and short. This is much more effective and accurate for applying polish than the usual elongated, tapered brushes one finds with most other brands. I almost always have my toes polished, and between running and walking several miles a week, mucking out stalls, hiking, working out, and everything else I do on my feet, I usually get five to seven days of wear out of a good polish. With the Rimmel polish, I've gone as long as two weeks between changes, with nary a chip or a peeling of the polish. I have to change because the color has grown out as my nails have grown. Absolutely amazing durability, especially in light of the constant friction of socks or hose and shoes. The polish dries relatively quickly, too. I use a base coat, two coats of Rimmel color, and a top coat. That will last between 10 and 14 days. This polish is definitely a great value, if you're looking for a smooth, sleek, long-lasting color.
Rimmel London Nail Polish is a really good nail polish for a number of reasons. First of all, it is priced very reasonably. They have a huge color selection, and unless your store doesn't carry very much of this brand, you won't have any problem finding just the right shade. For a reasonable price, Rimmel London lasts quite a long time. The color doesn't wear off too easily and it doesn't chip easily unless you do a lot of work with your hands will chip anything. It is also pretty easy to apply and most colors do not require a second coat to be solid and not transparent. Some of the lighter colors do require two coats but that is to be expected of any brand. Rimmel London's regular polishes dry in an average amount of time, the ones advertised as quick drying do dry somewhat faster, but not that significantly faster. Rimmel London is an overall great brand for their huge color selection and great quality polish at a reasonable price. This is a good brand for anyone that is looking for something above the bargain brand quality but does not want to pay too much.
I have a make up kit loaded with at least 25 to 30 different nail polishes. At least 4 out of 5 of them are Rimmel. I got started using Rimmel because they had a particularly wild color that I wanted to wear to a party. 5 days later when my nails were still nearly perfect I decided to check out some of the every day colors from Rimmel. I love them all. The polish doesn't chip as easily as with other brands, the variety of color is outstanding and you simply can not beat the price. Normally with cosmetics I tend to go with the more expensive brands so that I look as nice as possible. With Rimmel, I get the best of both worlds. My nails look fantastic and my pocketbook doesn't suffer from a high price.
I have recently purchased Rimmel products and I have to say that I am beyond pleased!!! I have a horrible time with most nail polishes. They chip, crack, peel, and I have had some even fade. Rimmel did not do any of those to me! It did run a little thin, but that was ok. I put on at least three layers of polish in my first sitting and added a fourth layer the next day. I had it on for a week and had absolutely zero issues with the nail polish. The only reasons I took it off were 1) it had "grown out" and 2) I was ready for a different color. I switched to another color of Rimmel, as I know sometimes different colors can be different even in the same line of product, and it is working just as well as the previous color! Way to go!!!

I'm not the kind of person who religiously has her nails painted, but for a special occasion, it's important that they look well-groomed. I knew I needed some new nail polish for a friend's wedding and headed to the drugstore where I found the rack of Rimmel nail polishes. I was immediately drawn to Steel Gray -- one of the subtle Lasting Pro shades from Rimmel. It was sophisticated without being flashy, and I figured it would hide any of my technique flaws really well. One of the best things about this nail polish is that the brush is rounded at the end, allowing you to flatten it and reach more of the nail with each swipe. This reduces the number of strokes you need to make and helps the polish go on more smoothly. I put three light coats on my toes and fingernails, and added a clear layer on top to help prevent chips. No joke -- this polish lasted WEEKS! I knew I wanted more shades, so I headed back to the drugstore. My only "con" with this polish is that the shade selection is very limited. I really hope they expand their selection soon because this polish is fantastic!
Rimmel London Nail Polish is an overall good product. They have a wide variety of really beautiful colors. I especially like their selection because they just have such nice shades and a really nice level of shine and shimmer, not too much, but not too little. Rimmel London is priced in the average range, and for the most part performs in the agerage range. Longevity isn't really any better or worse than other average nail polishes. The reason to choose this brand over others of similar price is the vibrancy of the colors and the great selection. Unless your store only carries a small selection, you won't have any trouble finding the perfect shade to make your look or match your outfit. Rimmel London is definitely on my favorites list because I can always find a color the suits me and I know I will get a product that works well and looks beautiful for several days without needing a touch up.
