Sturdy but Difficult to Use

I purchased this to use during a family road trip and it was a nightmare from the moment I purchased it all the way through the trip. This was relatively easy to set up and get into position on my SUV and reasonably easy to fill. But, after that things went downhill. It was nearly impossible to access things from the unit while on the road. And forget trying to get into the back of the SUV at all. It just got in the way and had to be removed before the back of the vehicle could be accessed at all. All the putting it on and taking it off quickly wore thin. The added bulk at the back made it quite difficult to park, including the fact that it blocked the backup camera completely. The unit was well made and sturdy and did stand up to the entire two week trip, including rain and long distances on the highway. While this did safely hold the items we had stored in it for the entire trip I really cannot recommend it due to the multiple tradeoffs involved.
