**i use my ridged shop vac for allot of uses, clean up all the grass clipping that dragged on to the front porch. cleans up aft-her my shedding puppy/ cat too. picks up all the hair whats left in the truck aft-her a day at the vets.i've used the vac in the basement to clean out the dryer and the vent that carries out the dust lint. does a wonderful work on all the lint around the dry spot an dust bunny's too. east to clean out an clean up with. knot to heavy rolls easy too. cord is long , wrap up with easy.had allot of water in are other basement and the ridged vac did all it claimed it would do and it did it too a great job.powerful intake picks up allot of stuff in its way .so if you suck up something that not want to get ride of,retrieve is made easy.the noise level isn't AS loud as you mite think it would have been, fairly quit too set up and start cleaning.lots of uses for this shop vac> ridged < a good vac.**
