i bought this one when my old one stopped working completely. ugghh.i was pretty upset over that because i spent a whole lot of money on that never mind..then i came across his and hurray its awesome piece...Heats up quickly, and hair glides smoothly past the plates, leaving hair not only straight, but shiny.The product itself does exactly what it's designed to do. The heat settings are nice.There is a temp setting that you turn based on what kind of hair you have.We would spend hours trying to get the silky smooth look with no success. The only thing we did accomplish was cause more damage to already over dry hairstraighteners don't offer the Wet hair option and take twice as long to straighten my hair, even when on the hotest settingI use a flat iron to obtain that really sleek look atleast, not to actually straighten my hair. it really works for me and its offordable..i bought this for my niece also..she has horrible curly hair and she said she liked it a lot...
