Yummy!

I wish these were more readily available at most stores! I love the Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups. I am a huge fan of dark chocolate, and these are just magnificent. The bitterness of the chocolate pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the peanut butter. It tastes different than normal Reese's which gives you an awesome new snack to try!

Must love dark chocolate

The classic milk chocolate peanut butter cup is one of my favorite candies ever made. The change to dark chocolate is still delicious, but if you are not a fan of dark chocolate than this will ruin the cup for you. If you are a fan of dark chocolate, feel free to eat hundreds of these!

Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are extraordinary. There isn't a better combination than chocolate and peanut butter, and making them with dark chocolate just amplifies the greatness. To satisfy a sweet craving it just doesn't get any better than these candies.

Decadent

I have always loved regular Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I love chocolate so I was very excited when they came out with their peanut butter cups in dark chocolate. Yum! They are so rich, smooth, tasty, and decadent! I eat them when I am in the mood for a special treat. I can't eat a lot of dark chocolate because it gives me acne, so I save these for special occasions. So yummy!

I tried the Reese's - Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups after seeing it next to the regular reese's cups at the store. Well I like dark chocolate and I like peanut butter cups so I tried them. They are absolutely addicting! I think that I ate the entire bag by myself. lol

nice dark chocolate treat

Not many people can say that they haven't tried a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (at least those who eat peanut butter). Chocolate and peanut butter together is a great match. I have eaten reese's peanut butter cups many times and when I saw the dark chocolate variety I figured that I would try them. I think different brands of dark chocolate tastes very different, some creamy, some leave a not so nice taste in the mouth, some bland and some taste great. This dark chocolate tastes great and together with the peanut butter is devine. Every time I eat a Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cup, I remember how much I really enjoy these. I now only buy the dark chocolate variety.

Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups better than original

5

Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are delicious. They are better than the original. If you love dark chocolate, these are for you. I have always found the peanut butter in the Reese's cups to be a little too sweet, and the dark chocolate offsets it just enough to be perfect. The only other thing that Reese's could do to make this the right product for me would be to list the percentage of dark chocolate. The chocolate itself is very smooth and creamy, which leads me to believe it is a lower percentage of dark chocolate. I don't mind this but would prefer to know exactly how much, as it would probably influence my purchase one way or another. Perhaps Reese's could come out with another dark chocolate peanut butter cup that advertises 70% cocoa or even higher. I know many people that would be more likely to purchase a higher cocoa/less sugar content. Bottom line, I found them to be a great treat for a rare occasion.

A Reese Cup I'll actually eat!!!

I really hate the smell of peanut butter, so I avoid Reese's Peanut Butter Cups like the plague.  But the hubby loves them, so when he picked up a bag of **Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups**, and I didn't have any of my own snacks in the house, I broke down and ate a few out of necessity.  **Reese's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups** were introduced in 2003 as a limited edition product, because of their popularity, were re-introduced on the market. Even though I expected to be grossed out and reminded of why I hate the milk chocolate version, I was shocked...these are really good!  The dark chocolate has a much better taste than Reese's milk chocolate, which I find to be very waxy.  It's also a stronger flavor, which minimizes the flavor (and aroma) of the peanut butter filling.  I'm still not impressed by the peanut butter's texture, finding it a little gritty.  They also have a little problem...the miniatures tend to leave little chocolate crumbs everywhere when you peel the paper off the candy, which I find later, ground into my sleeves or front of my shirt, or (my favorite) the couch cushion.  I really think Reese could do without the little paper cups, which would eliminate me having to keep a Tide stick beside me when I'm eating them.  Given my loathing of their original Peanut Butter Cups, my four stars on this would probably garner at least five stars by other people.  Definitely worth a try!

better than the original

When I first saw that Reese's had come out with dark chocolate peanut butter cup I was a little skeptical.   I mean, how can something top the original peanut butter cup?  I picked up a  package while grocery shopping and looked it over, and then decided to give it a try.  Let me tell you...it tastes amazing!  It has the same original filling as the milk chocolate peanut butter cup - you know the right blend of salty creamy peanut butter.  The only difference is the dark chocolate outside.  Somehow the substitution of dark chocolate makes it feel more decadent.  More like and expensive fine chocolate, instead of something you just picked up on the grocery store candy isle.  I can only imagine the world of baking possibilities that people will come up with after they get their hands on this pure yummyness.  My wheels have already started spinning!  So, instead of your ususal chocolate fix this afternoon...kick it up a knotch!

Dark chocolate + peanut butter?! Reese's best yet!

5

I've never been a huge fan of Reese's confections but I do have the occasional peanut butter craving. I've had their wafer bar, the Big Cup, Reese's Pieces, Reese's white chocolate peanut butter cups, and of course their regular milk chocolate cups. For the most part I don't like milk chocolate and most candies are just that, milk chocolate and other random ingredients. But when I saw advertisments for Reese's DARK I just knew I'd love it. I love dark chocolate and now I love Reese's Dark Chocolate peanut butter cups! The first time I saw them at the register I immediately added it to my cart and since then I've stocked up on the Reese's Dark 6-pack because I like it so much. I recently ran out but I am sure I will go get some more the next time I'm at the store. Hopefully this is one of Hershey's candies they won't stop making because this is the best alternative version of Reese's yet! I highly recommend this for any dark chocolate and peanut butter lover!
