I have been using this gel for about 3 months now and I love the way it smells!  I actually used it on one of my children's hair and his preschool teacher asked me what I used!  I like that it's lightweight and yet it helps with volume!  It doesn't really hold as well as I would like, but it does give me the volume I was going for.  This gel makes me feel like I'm treating myself to something nice! I think it's a bit pricey, but it also has lasted a long time, so it's one of those things that if you don't buy it all the time (since it lasts long), it's not too bad on the wallet! It also helps with shine, it doesn't make my hair look oily, and instead it makes my hair look shiny and healthy!  I recommend this because I feel like it also makes my hair softer once it dries, or once I use a blow drier to dry my hair. When I think of the brand Redken, I think of great hair, and that's what I've been able to achieve!

I love this stuff! Its great for basically anybody planning to use a blow dryer.  Not stiff or sticky at all!  Just great, bouncy, natural looking volume.  A very unique product. There's really nothing similar to the texture of this product, its not like other hair gels.  You can use it on short or long hair and its especially great for angled and layered bobs or anytime you want smooth and soft volume. Most people don't think to use gel on long hair so when I try it on my clients they are always suprised how well it works and they usually end up taking one home!

Urban Experiment 7 Velvet Gelatine is one of my favorite hair products. I squeeze a lil dollop of the "silk-infused" gel onto my hands and smooth it into my damp hair. After blow-drying my  hair, my black locks have a velvet, "velour" finish, is smooth, silky, and shiny. The scent is unique, but reminds me more of a man's gel product scent, than the typical fruity/flowery scent most female hair products have. It kind of has a sandalwood or incense fragranceof some sort to it. I guess it has a smell some people might think is a bit too "hippy incense scented" but I like the scent for some reason. I would recommend this product to women and men with darker hair (brown to black),  because I couldn't notice anything different about the blonde front of my hair when using this product. (The blonde just looked normal) If you want your dark hair to shine and look as silky as velvet, I think this product is worth a try.
