Works excellent for damaged hair

I've used many conditioners and shampoos in the Redken line because I love to try something new every couple of weeks. I have about three feet of hair, possibly closer to four now and it's hard to find products that truly work for me. My hair has been through the wringer with curling irons, flat irons, curling wands, blow dryers, and sun damage. I find that Redken is one of the better conditioners for my hair. I bought this particular one to try because it has the word extreme on the bottle. It may not be the best way to choose a conditioner but in this instance it worked. The conditioner is thick but it's not gooey. It goes on smooth and absorbs into my thirsty hair. I usually start at the tips and work my way up. The conditioner made it really easy to get my fingers through my wet hair. I left it on about ten minuets because I wanted to be sure my hair was getting the full treatment. When I rinsed the conditioner out, I didn't have to work too hard to get all the product out. Sometimes I am left standing under the water for several minutes rinsing until my hair no longer feels greasy. This product didn't make me feel that way at all. Once my hair started to air dry, I could actually comb it out without using additional products. My hair felt soft and it looked perky and shiny after using this product. I finished off the bottle and have tried several other conditioners since but this one is going to remain among my top favorites. Effectiveness It moisturizes all the damage away that I've done to my hair and it makes it manageable. Scent It has a great scent that is very citrus like. When you use the shampoo, it lasts even longer and smells even better.

Redken is a high quality brand that I can trust. This conditioner is truly extreme, to the point where I cant use it on a daily basis. The thickness of the product is ideal for coating each strand of the hair, absorbing evenly to create a layer of protection to keep away frizz and temporarily mend split ends. I love the rich, almost buttery scent of the conditioner. It reminds me of cocoa butter in some slight way. My hair feels strong and sleek, but I usually have to be very careful when using this product. The buildup that can occur after repetitive use makes my hair look dull and oily. I would suggest using this product 1 to 3 times a week to prevent that greasy look. Effectiveness Very effective, well made product. It is expensive but worth the price if you want your hair to truly have a transformation. Scent Love the richness of the scent. It is unique because it does not fit with the typical fruity/floral scents that are often time used by hair care manufacturers.

When I first tried this conditioner, it was because a friend of mine was always raving about it. She gave me a bottle and insisted I try it out, and I totally saw why right away! No other conditioner has ever had such an immediate positive effect on improving my damaged hair as this! It was as if the Redken Extreme Conditioner was formulated exactly for me! It strengthened, softened and added manageability to my hair which I thought was hopeless! For the price, you really can't match how effective the Redken Extreme Conditioner is. I've paid way more for salon brands and not had the same results. The scent is light and distinct, and I have never had so many compliments on how great my hair smells! I have bought Redken Extreme Conditioner several times now since trying it for the first time. I'm the one raving about it now and I am always thanking my friend for letting me know about it!

This Redken conditioner is an all time miracle product because it always repairs my hair in just one wash. Everytime my hair starts to feel dry and damaged I use this Redken extreme conditioner and my hair feels a lot smoother and silkier. It has a complex of proteins in it that repair and help improve the strength in my hair. I always see a difference in my hairs structure after because its more manageable and its extremely soft. Its a lot easier for me to style and it removes a lot of tangles. It has a very rich texture and it has a great smell leaving my hair to smell good all day. It improved my hair from not being so damaged. My hair is a lot smoother and its not heavy on my hair. I would recommend this for anybody with coarse damaged hair because it works deep into your hair shaft nourishing each hair strand into being a lot healthier. I would say its more of a deep conditioner because of the way it works and feels. My hair always looks and feels better when I use this conditioner. Its a bit pricey but its totally well worth the money. Its like it restores your hair back into a healthier texture.

I love this stuff!!! It's a little more expensive than the other brands like tresseme, or pantene. But is totally worth it when you weigh in the benefits you get when you use it. I have light blonde hair, and my color fades really quick. I have to color often, and it totally damages my hair. I started using this extreme shampoo and conditioner from REDKEN, and it has totally reversed the damage to my hair. It has made my hair so soft, and shiny. It has totally transformed my hair !!! I love this stuff.

I am so in love with the Redken Extreme Conditioner. I am a perpetual bleacher and I have fine hair. This makes it difficult for me to find one product that will work well for both of my needs. I usually have to settle for repair or volume. This conditioner allows me to have my cake and eat it too! The addition of protein to the conditioner helps to repair what I have striped out of my own natural hair. This means that I can have bleached hair, minus the split ends and crunch. Even with the repairative nature, I can still style my hair! It is not left flat and over conditioned. Effectiveness You will definitely notice a change in your dry and damaged hair. See a reduction in split ends, flyaways, and shine without having to sacrifice volume. I recommend using this with Redken Extreme Shampoo for the full effectiveness. Scent Not my favorite scent, but does not offend and is gender neutral.

Redken Extreme Conditioner is a great restorative conditioner for dry, damaged, unruly hair or hair in need of some extra attention. It has a really great aroma that lasts on your hair and is very pleasant. I really like the whole like of Extreme products from Redken. My mother-in-law has a beauty salon and the Extreme line is one of the most popular in Redken. It gets sold out often. The conditioner gives you best results when it is used with the Extreme Shampoo, they compliment each other. It leaves your hair smooth, silky, shiny and very manageable. So you can decide on an up do or even leave it down and it will look great. My hair is pretty manageable as it is, as I have long, fine, straight hair, but this is always an added benefit to it. I think it would be great for either long, short, curly or straight hair. Effectiveness Great results, you will be happy. Scent Really nice scent that is unique.

I love this conditioner. My hair had been very damaged and I had highlights, and this conditioner has protected the color and helped restore health to my hair. My hair is more manageable while initially styling it, and throughout the day. Effectiveness I can use just a small amount on my hair and it goes a long way. I use it daily, whether I shampooed that day or not. I only have to leave it on for a second and then rinse, and it washes out easily and makes my hair feel smooth and conditioned. Styling my hair is much easier now that I am using this. I notice less breakage and less hair falling out, which was a huge problem before I started using it. My highlights still look as fresh as they did when I first had them done. I feel like my hair stays more manageable and continues to look healthy for longer throughout the day. Scent I don't notice much of scent, which I like. What little scent there is smells fresh.

I switched to using the redken extreme line after my hair stylist recommended the line as a way to avoid drying out and damaging my hair due to multiple washings a day. While I,use the shampoo to wash my hair twice a day, i typically will condition daily or sometimes I skip a day depending on how my hair feels. What is great about the redken extreme conditioner and the products in general, is the products do not dry out your hair so you don't feel the need to use a lot of conditioner, frequently to make your hair feel smooth again. I enjoy using the redken extreme conditioner to help maintain my color-treated, active lifestyle, and typically dry from using products hair. Redken has restored my hair and helped prevent it from feeling damaged. Scent I have not noticed a scent with the conditioner; it feels fresh and clean and does not have an unpleasant scent to it. I would recommendit.
