Redken Extreme Anti-Snap is a great leave in conditioner. I bought it on a whim without reading any reviews because I needed a leave-in conditioner for use after shampooing. Since I highlight and blow-dry my hair, I felt my hair needed something extra to keep it in great shape. Redken Extreme Anti-Snap comes in a pump bottle instead of a spray-on. It initially surprised me because it's fairly thick like a normal conditioner would be. I was worried that it would weight my hair down because of the thickness. Instead, I'm happy to note that there wasn't a difference in my hair volume after use. I think that since it is so thick it is meant to be used on fairly damaged, over-processed hair-if your hair is relatively healthy, it might weigh it down. My hair definitely feels and looks healthier when I use this. I notice less split-ends and less breakage. I even notice less frizz on the days I use it. I will definitely keep using it.

This product is so helpful! It can be used to repair or prevent damage. You pump two or three times into your hand. Then run it through damp hair. I use this before I blow dry. It will help prevent damage from the heat of the dryer, so it will help prevent and repair any splitting ends. If you have damaged hair from bleaching this is a product for you! It has a lot of protein in it that will help to repair that damage. It is a great leave in conditioner. You can pair this with the Extreme line shampoo and conditioner. Some days that seems like to much for me, so I will use just the shampoo. For EXTRA damaged hair, I use the Extreme Rescue Force. This is like a leave in mask that will SUPER boost protein. I rarely see my own hair get to that point unless I am trying to get from a darker brunette back to a bleach blonde. This is a product that I would recommend to anyone who is worried about damage.

This stuff is amazing. Really, it is! I first tried it after my hairstylist used it in my hair and then I kept noticing how good my hair smelled! Initially I only bought it because of the smell, but then found out it actually worked and kept my hair from breaking. You do have to use a few pumps each time you apply to wet/damp hair, so you go through the product fairly quickly. Being quite expensive (around fifteen bucks for the bottle) and using so much would be the only con/negative I can think of. If you put this on your damp hair (even if it's tangled) you can literally run your fingers right through your hair, making it a good detangler. Then just blowdry as normal and your hair will be soft and managable and my favorite - have a great smell to it! I like that it comes in a pump and is fool-proof to use, but the negative is the cost and the amount of product that is needed for styling.

Redken Extreme Anti Snap is one of the worst product that i have used. Ever. I was extremly excited to use this product, because my hair was weak and breaking. This stuff did not help me at all. It promised to stop brakage. It did not do that. It made my hare dry, and crunchy. I hated what it did for my hair. I was really dissapointed becouse i read a lot of good things about the product. Maybe i got a bad bottle or something. If that was the case though, they should be ashamed of letting a bad bottle slip. Oh well. I got my money back. I do not think that i will ever be able to use another Redken product because of this product. I would just be to afraid that whatever Redken product I buy, it would damage my hair. I really wanted this product to work out for me. I was excited to try it because of all the good things that i heard about it. It is obviouse to me, that all products are not for all people.

This is my go-to leave in treatment. It not only fortifies the hair, and prevents/repairs split ends, but it works beautifully as a blow dry creme. I have fine long hair that weighs down easily, but this anti-snap creme works well in leaving hair soft, manageable and full-bodied. my hair is also very wavy, which means without some moisturizing leave in treatment, it tends to get frizzy. Anti-snap works well in preventing that also.  I have tried using the creme at different levels of dryness, and if used incorrectly it can make hair feel coarse. So I will say the best way to use it is to comb wet hair so it is smooth and free of tangles. then take about a quarter sized dollop of anti-snap in your palm, rub between palms to spread and warm up a bit, then work through hair concentrating on ends and on baby hairs along the facial line. blow dry immediately. you don't want to leave this to dry on hair, because then it gets kind of crisp. it's best to dry right away.

when i got my hair cut, my stylist reccomended this. my hair was completely dead i one whole section from too much dying, and it felt like mush! she cut off the worst part of it, and i left with this product. i only got it because i liked the smell so much, and i have used it quite frequently since. i can not say for sure that it has made my hair healthier, but i do get compliments on the smell alot. i dont have any other redken products, so the smell is combined with other shampoos. whenever i use this, i usually do not use any other products like mousse or detangling spray or heat protectant or anything. i use this when i am giving my hair a break from heat and everything else. right now, my hair is pretty healthy, and looks great. i only ose a few pumps, and i put it on while my hair is still wet, and let it air dry. only put a tiny bit on the roots with your finger tips because when you comb it through the product will get onto your scalp that way and you dont want too much on the scalp. concentrate it on the ends.

**REDKEN ANTI SNAP IS A HAIR MIRACLE.  i love this product.  i have very fine thin hair and i have always thoufght that a leave in conditioner would just weigh my hair down making it heavy and greasy.  well boy was i wrong,.   this anti snap by redken treats my over worked heat dmaaged hair.  it leaves it soooo soft and smooth and healthy looking.  it is very lightweight.  it doesnt weigh my hair down at all.  it smells great.  it works great as a heat protectant.  after using this redken anti snap for just a mth i noticed my hair was much more healthy looking.  my ends were not split and my hair was so soft and shiny.  after using antisnap for 3 mths i noticed my hair was a LOT more healthy and ofcourse after 6 ,ths my hair looked stunning.  very helathy very full of body and life and shine.  my hair just was so much more helathy.  thi si a grest leave in treatement that will give you amazing results.  it lasts a long time becauyse it only takes  a small amt to do your whole head**
