I have processed blonde hair with highlights. It's has natural curl and is dry from coloring, the dryer and using a flat iron. I've tried many products over the years opting to always buy the newest product on the market since my daughter in law is a stylist,. I tried the Redken Blonde glam 5 years ago and have been using it ever since. I previously had to use a "purple" shampoo twice a week to keep the brassiness out of my hair color but I no longer need to use that since using the Redken. My highlights stay bright, my blonde doesn't get brassy and my hair doesn't dry out.

My original hair color is ash brown, but I get my hair highlighted regularly. My stylist uses all Redken products. She recommended Redken's shampoos for color treated and highlighted hair. I use the Blonde Glam and Extreme shampoos, and love them both. I typically use the Blonde Glam every other, or every third shampoo. It brings out my highlights, leaves my hair soft and shiny, and has a nice texture. Often after I've used it I get compliments, or someone will ask me if I just got highlights. The Redken line is high quality and the products smell great. I can see why my stylist recommends them. I prefer the Redken Blonde Glam over John Frida--I think it's better for my hair and isn't drying. Effectiveness Fantastic. I have tried a lot of different shampoos for highlighted hair--this one ranks among the best for me. Scent Not overpowering, which is nice. The shampoos don't smell as great as the products (hairspray, etc.), but they still smell good.

The Redken Blonde Glam Shampoo is my favorite shampoo for maintaining my blonde color in between color treatments without the color turning brassy on me at all. It works great at cleansing my fine hair without over drying it. After using this shampoo for a few months, I noticed that I had less split ends forming. While it took me a while to notice a decrease in split ends in my hair, I did notice that my hair felt stronger and looked healthier after a week. It had a nice citrus scent and the shampoo gave my hair a bit of volume at the roots, and I have pin straight hair! It even helped to lighten my hair a bit more, without causing any breakage. It creates a nice lather and you only have to use a little so you definitely get your money's worth. It gave my hair a nice shine too. I would highly recommend it as it is an affordable shampoo that does a good job at preserving color and keeping hair strong and healthy.

This is my current and favorite shampoo to use. I bleach my hair regularly and in the summer catch as much sun as I can. I prefer my hair to be shiny, blonde, and blowing in the wind. A lot of products are way to heavy for me to be happy. Blonde Glam is the best. The shampoo lathers so much! I do not know what it is about a lather, but if a shampoo doesn't lather up enough, I do not feel like my hair is being cleaned. This pairs great with the matching Blonde Glam Conditioner. They are a great pair for blondes. Effectiveness Amazing. I use this during the summer months. It is nice and light and clean. It lathers up great and perfect for all blondes. It gives just enough moisture, but is not too heavy for those that have finer hair. Scent This is my favorite scent from Redken. It is so summery. Fresh, tropical goodness. It is not very overpowering, but definitely leaves the bathroom smelling a little like Hawaii.

This is a fabulous summer shampoo and conditioner. It has a grapefruity-y scent and really brings out the blonde highlights in my hair. It doesn't dry out my hair any more than it already is (which the Frieda Sheer Blonde line DOES), but it also doesn't moisturize it quite as much as I would like it to. Once winter rolls around I will probably have to give it up for something that will quench my dry-hair's thirts, but for now I am sticking with it!

I bought this at a local salon after my hair dresser sugggested trying a redkin shampoo based on my hairs needs. I could tell after the first use that it really cleaned my hair well compared to some of the cheaper brands that I had been using. I could also tell a difference in my natural highlights becuase my blonde highlights seems a little lighter on top. I did have to blow dry my hair after using this product. I normally let my hair air dry but after using this shampoo it had a slightly oilier texture. The next several times that I used it I blow dried my hair straight instead and my hair was my normal texture but a little softer. I did like the fact that my hair was shiner then normal as well. You also dont have to use a large amount of this shampoo. My hair is about 3 inches longer then shoulder length and I only had to use a very small dollop of shampoo. The smell was nice but nothing extra ordinary.

I have to start by saying that this product, like virtually all hair products on the market today are a complete and total waste of money. Especially salon brands. First they make you drive to the salon and waste your gas on making a special trip. Your stylist pushes you to buy whatever their boss is pushing them to sell. They justify needing to spend the extra money because this is a special product that will somehow make you so much more gorgeous. It's all lies to feed your vanity and using your insecurities. This product is full of chemicals that are not regulated for safety. In the heat and moisture of your shower, the chemicals leach into your scalp and into your body. Don't pay the money for harmful chemicals in this product. And don't support the salon product market. It won't make your blond any more glam than if you use just plain baking soda for shampoo and rinse with apple cider vinegar.

When I was a blonde, I loved using Redken Blonde Glam Shampoo!  It really brings out the blonde in my hair, and sort of makes natural highlights without spending a ton of money in the salon.  It also makes my hair very shiny and smooth.  It is a must buy for blondes, I don't see how people can live without it!  It is a little bit expensive, but there are a lot of shampoos out there that cost a lot more that do not work as well as this one.  I would much rather spend a little bit more on a quality shampoo that produces these kinds of results!  I would definitely recommend that anyone who is a blonde to at least give this shampoo a try.  I think you will be very satisfied and won't ever want to go back to your old shampoo!  You hair will look the most healthy it has ever looked, it will be shiny and it will smell amazing!  What more could you really want in a shampoo.  Give Redken Blonde Glam Shampoo a try, you won't regret it!
