drive time and speed are lower than a gas powered scooter. but great for the environment and still fun. evryone can help by buying smart and green this provides a win win situation for everone. also cost is less than a gas powered scooter and you don't have the huge cost of gas just charge up and go.

We got my 10 year old daughter and 8 year old son each a E300 electric Razor for Christmas. They love it. I have to admit, my hubby and I and our roommate has also been enjoying them as well. They were super easy to put together, They are a lot bigger than the other Razor scooters, They are durable and strudy as well. My son did get side tracked for a few minute and had a small wreck, he didn't hurt himself thank goodness, but the scooter did get a small scracth other than that it is still perfect. we got my son the red e300 and my daughter the blue e300 with the seat. My husband did not put the seat on my daughters so it would be like her brothers. You can not even tell that a seat goes on there. But we have it just in case we might want to add it on one day. They seem to go faster than any other scooters. They are pretty heavy but it doesn't seem to bother the speed any. I love how they have wide tires, What is the best even adults can ride them. I use it to go check my mail because it saves on gas!!! love them

LOVE THIS SCOOTER! THE SIT DOWN FEATURE IS NICE! MUST CHARGE IT FOR AWHILE, BUT IT IS WORTH IT! MY SON IS 8 AND HAD A LITTLE PROMBLEM AT FIRST MASTERING IT, BUT WITH ALOT OF PRACTICE HE GOT IT DOWN. I RECOMMEND GETTING A HELMET, BECAUSE IT GOES UP TO 10 MILES PER HOUR. KNEE PADS WOULDN'T BE A BAD IDEA EITHER. DEFINATELY WANT TO KEEP THE SCOTTER INSIDE. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE BATTERY OTHER THAN IT DOES TAKE A WHILE TO CHARGE IN BETWEEN RIDING. HOWEVER A FRIEND DOWN THE ROAD HAS HAD TO HAVE HERS REPLACED A FEW TIMES. DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS BECAUSE SHE KEEPS IT OUTSIDE OR NOT. EVERYDAY MY SON CAN'T WAIT TO RIDE IT, I MUST SAY WE HAVE A LARGE LAWN AND IT RIDES ALOT BETTER AND YOU CAN STAY ON IT EASIER ON THE PAVED ROAD. IN THE GRASS IT IS HARD TO MAINTAIN SPEED, SLOWER, AND EASIER TO LOSS YOUR BALANCE. FOR THE PRICE OVERALL I WOULD GIVE IT FOUR STARS! DID GOOD WITH THIS BIRTHDAY BUY!

I have a long walk from the parking lot to my office, so I bought this to scoot to work from the parking lot since it states that the e300 can push up to 220lbs and I'm 175lbs at 15mph. This scooter barely got me going out of a pretty flat parking lot (with a 1percent grade at the most), I could have walked faster. Pep Boys won't take it back and Razor says it 's normal so I need to know what I am buying before you buy it....huh? I only had the e300s less than 10 days....go figure. Oh yeah, the box says variable speeds and has a pic of 3 speed selections and a battery LED light...NOT!!.  Eventhough a pic is on the box, the inside unit does not have a battery led or a 3 speed switch throttle switch. No fine print to tell you otherwise also. Buyer beware!!!Try it before you buy it.

The **Razor Electric Scooter E300S **is a high-quality scooter with an attachable seat. It may actually be safer than the traditional standing scooters because kids will be sitting in one spot and remaining more stable while riding the scooter. Perhaps the bigger difference between the E300 and other versions, however, is the speed. The E300 can travel up to 15 miles per hour! For this reason, it does make me feel safer that they are seating while riding it, but a helmet is required either way. The **Razor Electric Scooter E300S** is a sturdier and pricier model than the E100 and E200. You might be able to find one on sale at the end of summer though as stores clearance out their summer items.
