Wonderful wagon for the price!

5

When my daughter was a little girl, I had wanted her to have a wagon. I had memories of being pulled around in a wagon, when I was little and I loved it. I wanted my daughter to have the same memories. She grew up having this wagon and we have taken it so many places. Parks, zoo, the fair even. It has with stood the test of time and numerous kids. I like that it is big enough for two kids to be able to be pulled around in and there is an area for storage, which as we all know when you take kids places you also must take all of their stuff with you and that can be very cumbersome to haul bags of kid related stuff with you. We were able to take it to places that I would have had to haul that stuff on my back, having a place where I could stick the items with out becoming a human pack mule was amazing and really worth the money, as well. My daughter is now too big for her mom to be pulling her around and it breaks my heart to think about getting rid of this wagon. We have used it so much.

Great companion to spring/summer!

My mother was able to get this for my almost two year old son, for his first birthday. She sound it on one of her online yard sale pages, in great condition, for a really good price. My son has loved it since day one! Any time the weather is nice, we go outside and the a walk with him in tow in his big red wagon. For his first birthday party, we had his wagon and other yard toys out for guests to play with. This wagon never stopped! Someone was always wanting a ride. Even the kids took turns pulling the wagon with other kids inside. It is perfect for a stroll around the yard or for a walk to the park or down a trail. It rolls smoothly. It is not too heavy. It works great in the winter as well. For instance, we have used ours for our downtown Christmas parade. There is plenty of room for our son to bundle up and sit comfortably in his wagon and watch the Christmas floats go by! (And it's great for holding all that candy that gets thrown out, too!)

Good wagon, nice features

We bought this wagon instead of a stroller for my son, and we have taken it everywhere. Two issues I have found with it are that the grommets for the cover have all broken, and because of this the sunshade will not mount. Second issue if that with the hard narrow wheels this wagon is hard to pull on a beach. I would be better if you could change out the wheels for some wider ones. Great room for the kid, and I love the cup holders.

better than a stroller

we love love love our wagon. we used to use a double stroller when we would go places but the boys quickly got sck of the baby stroller so we bought our wagon and have used it for every outing ever since for our older boys. they are 2 and 4 years old and perfect for it. i like that it has buckles for when they were smaller and i love the high backs on the seats in the chairs. they also fold down to creat a regular flat bottomed wagon for outside play at home. my boys love to take turns pulling eachother and i love that when we are out they can face eachother and still both get to enjoy the scenery unlike a double stroller. plus they can get in and out easily. i did think the steering gets a little out of alighnment in the front and thats why i only gave it a 4 star rating but other than that it is a great investment. i even use it while im gardening to pull plants around the yard. i would reccomend ths wagon to friends and family.

Great transition from stroller!

We got our wagon from a friend whose twins had outgrown it and it is our new favorite twin accessory! Our girls are almost 3 and they resist riding in the stroller because they can't jump in and out, but trips to the zoo and museum really wear them out.  I'm a stay-at-home mom, so when I'm at the zoo with them, I just can't carry them both! The wagon has been a perfect compromise. It comes with drink holders, which is great for both mom and toddlers... the Houston heat requires that we have a beverage at hand at all times, and the holders are deep enough that bumps in the sidewalk won't knock them over. The seats fold down so the wagon can be used to  haul things (like pumpkins in October) easily.  The girls like to "hide" their stuffed animals in the folded down seats when they play with the wagon when we're at home. In that regard, it's proven great for imaginitive play... the girls hop in and talk about where they're pretending to be (usually the zoo) and what they're "seeing." It's a little heavy to lift in and out of the van, but that's because it's so sturdy, which is a big positive.

Great for little ones!

My kids love this wagon! It's fantastic to take out for the day and can even replace the stroller if you have only 1 child. The seat backs are great for little ones. We usually put a small pillow in there if we are going for the day in case the toddler needs a nap. Steering is a little tricky in tight spots. Don't let the kids pull each other around cause it will tip if they try to turn too quickly!

My grandsom loves his Radio Flyer Excursion Wagon

5

My grandson just loves his Radio Flyer Excursion Wagon.  He got this wagon for his birthday last year and fell in love with it.  He takes it almost everywhere he goes.  He loves to haul his toys in it, and also uses it to collect rocks and fun things he finds on his walks.  He also loves to transfer sand from his sandbox back and forth between his wagon and his sand box. He is able to pull it without the wheels sticking or tilting, even on the lawn.  His parents and I love the long handle so we do not have to slouch while pulling him around.  It also pulls under for easy storage, this feature is an extra bonus. This Excursion Wagon features convertible seats that fold up so he has a comfortable ride and folds down for great hauling capacity of all his "stuff". Child seat belts are included for safety (although he never uses them now since he is older and does not need them), a super-large storage compartment holds drinks and snacks, and 4 molded-in cup holders accommodate cans, cups or juice boxes.  He loves taking his snacks and drinks with him while he is playing outside. Wagons have always been a favorite for all my children and now my grandchildren.  I highly recommend this one.
