First off this product smells like grape juice, grape products. It comes out as a thick, viscous, purple tinted substance. The substance is so thick it is kind of difficult to spread over the skin. It is important that you put a thick enough layer so it is easier to pull off. The product dries within five-ten minutes and is pretty easy to pull off. Be sure not to get it in your hair or eyebrows! My only issue with this product was you cannot really see anything on the peeled mask. My skin did feel softer and a bit tingly after removal, but it didn't really feel cleaner.

For the very low price tag on this Queen Helene Grape seed Extract pull off mask, it is actually a pretty decent mask. The smell can be very off-putting to some, because it has a surprisingly strong sort of alcohol/chemical smell to it. This does not bother me at all, but for some people with sensitive skin and noses, you may want to steer clear of it just for the smell alone. Also keep in mind that a little of this mask goes a very long way, and application takes some getting used to. You only need a little drop of the product and to spread it very thin. Too thick and it will never dry, trust me. It is a lot of fun to peel off and usually comes off in one big sheet if done properly and spread evenly. The result that I always get is much firmer, more glowing skin, and seemingly smaller pores. I like to use it about once a week to clean all the gunk out of my pores, I really like this mask.

I love masks. All masks. They're just so fun to use and I usually apply one at least once a week while I'm in the bath. The Queen Helene brand is inexpensive and usually quite mild so I never hesitate to pick up one of their masks when I see it at the store. When I saw this Grape Seed Extract Peel Off Masque I simply had to try it. A peel off mask was just too fun not to try! I washed and dried my face like I usually do before applying a mask. It glided right on my skin. It's more of a gel than a paste like the usual mud based masks which was a fun change. It was also great for summer as it was lighter feeling. I settled back in the bath and let it go to work. It was a bit steamy in the bathroom at first so it didn't dry right away but as the steam dissipated the mask did dry and left me feeling like I had a coating of paint on my skin. Not in a bad way. I peeled it off in pieces - I was hoping to get it all off in one go just for the coolness factor but mine came off in bits and pieces probably because I didn't take care to apply it uniformly. In any case, it peeled off nicely and I gave my face a quick rinse with a damp washcloth to get any remaining bits off. I did end up with some in my hair at the hairline but it washed out fine when I washed my hair. This left my skin soft and clean feeling. It's especially good for summer when it's already hot and you really don't want to be wearing a heavy mud mask.

I absolutely love each and every one of the Queen Helene masks. I specifically love this one because it gets rids of all the dead skin on my face. It's kind of like an exfoliator and a mask in one. It helped get rid of the impurities in my skin, like dirt, oil, and other gunk, but it also got rid of all the dead skin and flakiness. My favorite thing about this mask is that it does help to get rid of blackheads. Because this is a peel-off mask, it acts almost like a really giant pore strip. I also love the scent of this mask. It smells fruity, but not overly so. Another great thing about this mask, is that it helps dry out my acne. Whenever I have a spot, I put this product on it almost like a spot treatment. After a few times using this product as a spot treatment, it really helps to dry out any blemish on my skin. This is a great overall mask! Buy it, and you won't be sorry! I will continue to repurchase it in the future.

I am a huge fan of Queen Helene products and this one does not fall short at all. I am a new user of this as it took me awhile to fully understand the benefits of grapeseed extract. I began using this product this past winter, as I live in Chicago and we got hit pretty hard with the cold weather this year. My skin tends to get pretty dry during the winter months, particularly my face as it is exposed the most. I love what this product is doing for my skin, it terms of keeping it feeling moisturized. Effectiveness Works very well on my face. Does a great job keeping it soft and smooth, without and oily feeling to it. It is definitely worth the purchase. Ease of Application It applies very well to the face, particularly if you have cleansed the skin already and this is the final step in your regime. Scent The scent is lovely, very light and hardly noticeable fragrance, however you do know that it is there. I enjoy the fact that you are not overpowered by the fragrance when you open the tube.

I have been a fan of the Queen Helene brand and facial masques for around ten years now starting with their incredible mud masque. I decided to do the Grape Seed Extract Peel off masque just for this review! I've been using this particular product for around two and a half years now. I'll agree that it does soften the appearance of wrinkles and softens your skin. It is soothing and I recommend applying the the masque during the day at a slightly warm room tempature to dry faster. I find that when its cold the masque takes a little longer to thoroughly dry. As you peel off the masque its supposed to clean out your clogged pores. It says to apply generously but I would not overdue it because it tends to slowly drip off your face and chin at first if you apply too much in one area. i would also recommend making sure your tube is sealed tightly when not in use because it can turn sticky on you. It leaves my face looking refined and feeling soft and fresh!
