I was not always such a big oatmeal fan so long ago. Now, it is one of my top picks for cold mornings or a quick filling breakfast. I absolutely enjoy Quaker High Fiber Oatmeal in the maple and brown sugar variety. Initially, for some crazy reason, I thought it would have a maple syrup kind of taste. Funny, it didn't though. For me, it was more of an essence or an under tone of maple. There was plenty of flavor present though. That may sound a little strange because of the previous sentences though. The other flavors - mainly, the brown sugar and what I had perceived to be cinnamon was much more pronounced. Although it is fiber fortified, it doesn't have that awful Metamucil kind of taste. The added fiber adds an extra element of fullness and being satiated for quite some time after ingestion. Quaker High Fiber Instant Oatmeal: Maple & Brown Sugar is just the thing to help me stay fuller and more focused throughout the day.
