I received the 18-piece Bake and Prepware Set by Pyrex as a gift. I have always exclusively used Pyrex dishes and bakeware. I really wanted this Pyrex set so that I could not only cook with these but also use them for food storage. I like the fact that they came in a wide variety of sizes and all pieces come with a lid. This makes baking and then storing in the refrigerator or freezer as simple as pressing the lid on. The lids snap on nice and tight and firm to ensure that the food stays fresh. Even after heavy use, the lids still fit tightly. Another reason why I like these Pyrex dishes so much is that they are very durable. I use this a lot and I have even dropped them from time to time and yet they still look like new. I do find that you have to make sure you soak them straight after baking in order for them to remain looking brand new. They do require some good old fashioned elbow grease to keep them looking spotless and then I put them in the dishwasher to ensure they look as clean as they did the day I received them. This is all totally worth it as I love my Pyrex set. I also like that I can take one of the smaller containers from the refrigerator and put them into the microwave. This makes heating up leftover lasagne and casseroles easy. These are extremely durable, portable and versatile and why I score them 10 out of 10.

I love my Pyrex. Anything you need to do in the kitchen can be done in one of these. You can bake in it, you can cook in it, you can reheat in it, you can store in it, you can serve in it, you can even eat out of it! I prefer to use glass because even though plastic containers can be cheaper sometimes and less breakable, heating in the microwave can be more dangerous in those because the chemicals in the plastic can leach into your food. This particular set is really nice because it does come with a wonderful Pyrex measuring cup along with a variety of sizes of Pyrex containers and lids, perfect for baking but also serving and storing. Performance These glass containers do exactly what they're supposed to do. Doesn't Stick I have had my glass Pyrex containers for years and there is yet to have anything stuck to the sides of it. And because it's glass when you heat things in the microwave it does not cause that burnt, melting, line around it.

I love the Pyrex brand, and with the 18-piece bakeware and prepware set there is no difference. This set is huge and has everything that a new bride would need to start her home. With the prepware sets, you get the bowls with the lids and then also the measuring cup. I have had my Pyrex measuring cups for over 10 years and they are still going strong, except for one which broke when it dropped out of the cabinet. With the bakeware set, you get the variety of sizes with also the lids which is great. You can put brownies in the 8x8 pan and a casserole in the 9x13. Since they have the lids, it makes traveling with your dish relatively easy. Pyrex is the brand I love and trust when it comes to glass bakeware. Every bride should register for this great set. You would not regret it. Doesn't Stick Of course all glassware sticks with some things, so be sure to read the recipe's directions. With things like brownies and casseroles, you need to either spray the pan first or use some solid Crisco.

I love the Pyrex Bake and Prepware Set because I think that they are safer than plastic containers. You won't have any plastic that will melt or transfer into your food when you microwave it because it's made of, I think, glass? The lids are flimsy and made of plastic though. I think that they are very durable and like other Pyrex products, resistant to scratches and cracks due to carelessness. The price is a little high because you are paying for good quality material so I think that it is very worth it. It's easy to clean too but sometimes the plastic lids give me a hard time because it's hard to clean them if they are greasy. I do get a little scared when I stack these containers in my cabinet because I'm scared they might shatter if I drop them, but so far I have had no issues. If you are looking for good containers to pack to lunch to be microwaved, the Pyrex Bake and Prepware Set would be a very good choice.

My husband recently bought me the Pyrex 18-Piece Bake and Prepware Set. and I absolutley love it. I had a single Pyrex dish and loved it so much that I told him that I wanted to buy more pieces to add to my collection. I was so surprized when he gave me the 18 piece set! Each dish is made of heavy glass and has a lid that fits snugly making it the perfect bake and take along dish available. I can bake something for a potluck dinner, let it cool and then snap the lid on it and it is ready to go. You can cook nearly anything in these, whether it be a main course dish or a dessert dish. They are high quality, durable and very easy to clean. You can hand wash them, but it is perfectly safe to put them in the dish washer. Since these are made of glass, you can see through them. It's nice when I'm baking a cake to be able to see the bottom and sides of the cake as it bakes. it helps me to know when the cake is done. Did I mention that I love my Pyrex dishes?

I received this set as a wedding gift six years ago and still have all of the pieces in good working order. I use the bowls the most to store leftovers and take food for lunch. The lids hold in liquid and odors and keep my leftovers fresh for several days. I like that I can put all of the pieces in the dish washer for easy cleaning. My only complaint is that the measuring cup lost its markings after numerous runs through the dishwasher. The measuring cup works, you just don't know how much you are measuring. The casserole pans are nice because they are the standard sizes that most recipes call for and the lids make them easy to transport to potlucks or family events. Even after lots of use I have been happy with the clarity of the glass. It has not gotten foggy or stained over the years and none of the pieces have broken even though they have been dropped numerous times. They hold up in the microwave, dishwasher, and refridgerator.

I got a great deal on this 10-piece Pyrex set through a Woot deal that a friend convinced me to indulge in. Up till then, I had been using metal pans that got dingy and rusty quickly, and that I could never clean very effectively. I had scattered bits of a bakeware set with all sorts of miscellaneous pieces, but not what I needed to have an organized and functioning kitchen. This set is a godsend for me. The bakeware pans are much easier to clean than the old metal pieces I was using before, and food doesn't get stuck to it in the same way that I used to struggle with. (Parchment paper can still be helpful, though!) The pie dish is nice and deep, and can double as a flat baking surface in a pinch. The mixing bowls are the perfect size for serving and storing leftovers. And the covers that come with most of the pieces are ideal for transporting food or storing in the fridge when you've made a full dish of food.

This is a very excellent set of containers that can allow you to live a more sustainable lifestyle as you are reducing the amount of disposable containers that you are using. Less suran wrap and more of the containers that can be washed. Furthermore there is no BPA that can leach into foods. The set comes in a great variety of sizes, very perfect for multiple meals. The glass itself is very easy to clear, and does not absorb and stains or odors. I use it to store durian and a quick wash lives it very fresh. You would never know that it stored durian. These can be used to reheat food in the microwave, if you remove the lids. They can also be used in the freezer as well, and they won't crack. They are a bit heavy, so you have to hold it carefully with two hands and make sure that it won't drop. If you do drop it, it can crack and it's not durable enough to handle a few falls. But they are manageable

I love all of the items included in this Pyrex set. The variety in sizes of casserole pans is great and I have found many uses for them through the years. I have a thing for bowls also, so it was awesome that so many were included in the set. The measuring cup and pie pans were bonuses and definitely very useful. The thing I probably love most about the bakeware set is that all of the items (minus the measuring cup and pie pan) have lids! This is so very useful when you need to cover leftovers in the refrigerator. No need to transfer the food to tupperware and dirty more dishes. Performance Every piece of this bakeware performs great. Ease of Cleaning They are all very easy to clean. Durability I've had this set for over five years and still going strong! Design Classic design that works wonderfully. Doesn't Stick I've never had an issue with food items sticking in these. If they are particularly sticky, just use a spray of Pam or butter.

I grew up with mostly metal bakeware and plastic tupperware storage containers for leftovers, but since growing up and getting married, we were lucky enough to receive a bunch of glassware (Pyrex and others) for our wedding. The Pyrex glassware is durable and sturdy. You don't have to worry about it scratching or peeling, and I feel more comfortable using it in the microwave since plastic can leach chemicals into the food--glass just seems safer. I don't recommend putting the plastic lids in the microwave--I know microwaving can warp some plastic lids (I haven't put my pyrex ones in teh microwave, so I can't say for sure with these)--I usually just remove the lid and cover the dish with plastic wrap or a paper towel before microwaving. Pyrex is heavy, but it is durable and doesn't discolor, scratch, or dent. I think it's one of the handiest and most often used kitchen items I have.
