I use this lotion after cleansing and timing my skin. I apply it before makeup and give it a few minutes to absorb fully. It is great for oily skin ! I am combo/ mostly oily and this is one of the first lotions that didn't make my skin more oily. It has no scent, absorbs nicely and wears well under makeup.

I have been seeing the Purpose brand skin cares at my local drugstore for years. Recently I had a bad flare up of acne on my forehead. I had to treat the blemishes with some rather strong medicines, and the area was left dry and irritated. I needed to find a product that would not re-aggravate the blemishes but would moisturize the dryness and irritation that was left. This lotion did wonders for treating the dry areas and did not cause further breakouts. Effectiveness I use an SPF product daily. So often they are a bit irritating to my sensitive skin. This was not, I was even able to apply it around my eye area. I had no further breakouts even on my oily forehead. Ease of Application A few drops of this lotion went all over my face and neck. The texture of the lotion is thin enough to spread evenly over your face but thick enough to stay in place and provide moisture throughout the day. Scent I like the minimal scent of this product. Especially as I wore this under my cosmetics. It didn't interfere with my perfume or shampoo.

I've used Purpose facial cleansers before, so I was interested in trying Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture lotion when I saw it was available. I like to have a facial moisturizer that also provides sun protection since I walk at least one mile a day to and from work. My skin is dry, especially in the winter, so I like to use a facial moisturizer that can keep my face from feeling dry all day long. I have yet to find a perfect product that does that, but this one is pretty close. During the driest days of the season, I only had to apply this product twice in one day to feel like my face had adequate moisture. This lotion is light on the skin, doesn't feel very greasy, and spreads quite well all over. It doesn't really have a scent. Sunscreen often has a distinct scent, but Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion doesn't have a sunscreen scent. I like the Purpose products because they seem to be simple and don't irritate my sensitive skin.

I have been using Purpose Dual Treatment moisture lotion for about 10 years now, and I am not about to stop now. I love the way this moisturizer does on, and absorbs quickly. It makes my face feel smooth, and rejuvenated. I also really appreciate that SPF 15 that this product has. I am a red head with freckles, and this moisturizer keeps me from getting burned while I am outside playing with my kids. I have sensitive skin that doesn't like it when I switch products, but I have never had a problem with the formula in this moisturizing lotion. Effectiveness I like the way this moisturizing lotion makes my face feel. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs well too. Ease of Application The bottle has an easy to use pump to dispense the lotion. It has a lock feature on it, so if you are traveling and it gets bumped it won't get all over your make-up bag. Scent I'm glad it doesn't have a strong scent. It is something that I can put on every day and know that it won't over power any perfume that I want to put on. It has a mild smell that goes away shortly after rubbing in.

My dermatologist recommended Purpose SPF-15 Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion to help with my oily skin, to combat the effects of Tretinoin Gel 0.1%, and provide protection against the sun. I have been using this product for several years now and my skin has greatly benefited from it. My skin is so much healthier and clearer than at any point in my entire life. I apply this lotion morning and night after cleansing my face. It rubs in evenly and a little goes a long way. I can't say for sure if my face is less oily but it no longer breaks out on a weekly basis so I'm not complaining. This moisturizer can clog your pores if you apply too much but that applies for all moisturizers so it's no big deal. The price is fair for its multipurpose use and I always seem to find a great deal on this lotion. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has oily or sensitive skin that needs a light moisturizer that protects the skin from the sun.

Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion has really worked for my face.  I don't have oily or dry skin, it is pretty normal.  I really like the fact that there is spf in it since I don't always manage to put that on my fair skin.  I like that it can be for a man or a woman, there is no scent and it is hard to find a face lotion for a man.  I have used this for many years and it seems to really keep my skin from being too dry and it is the only thing I put on my face.  I don't really even use after shaves or anything, but this does the trick for me.  I haven't had any breakouts from it either.  It is fairly affordable in the scheme of things.  I do sometimes have a hard time finding it at the stores, but so far I always do.  I would recommend this for a quick face lotion for any guy.

I love this moistuizer.  It goes on light and doesn't feel heavy.  It helps keep my skin soft.  I put it on under my makeup.  It helps my makeup go on smoothly.  I like that it comes in a pump.  That makes it easy to get the right amount of lotion, so I don't get too much or too little.  I like that it feels like I have nothing on, but my skin doesn't feel dry and tight.  I like that it has SPF in it too, so I don't have to put on extra sunscreen if I am just out and about.

I have acne prone, oily skin. The frustrating thing is that in the winter time, I tend towards acne prone oily skin with very dry patches. For years I tried moisterizer after moisterizer, cheap brands to very expensive brands, I would even use two different moisterizers at once- nothing worked. I wanted something that I could use over my acne products, under makeup, and something that would be good for both dry and oily skin. I bought Purpose Dual Treatment Moister Lotion on a whim and I have never looked back! This moisterizer is perfect, it is very lightweight, you can feel the hydration as soon as you put it on. It works well under makeup, over other products, by itself- whatever! The spf is also a big plus, I used it at the beach as my only face sunscreen and it was perfect. My sisters skin is similar to mine with the added complication of psoriasis, this product works for her as well. The price is also a plus, a great moisterizer at a great price, I would recommend Purpose to anyone!

Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion is the best moisturizer I have ever used. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist years ago, and now I cannot live without it. I use it every single morning without fail. I used to have a lot of skin problems including oily skin -- not anymore. My skin is soft, never ever oily, and blemish free. Keeping the skin moisturized with this moisture lotion has definitely contributed to my nice complexion. I've even had people ask me what I use on my face to keep it so smooth! I also love the sun protection aspect of the product. Every day I can go out without worrying that my skin is being damaged by the sun (although a higher SPF product should be used in addition on days with prolonged sun exposure.) The product is never greasy and absorbs so easily. After application, makeup goes on easily and without any interferance by the moisture lotion. I would recommend Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion to anyone and everyone!
