My daughter-in-law is my hair dresser. She introduced me to Pureology a few years ago. Because I dye my hair quite often, I knew that I needed a shampoo that would be good for my straight, thin, dyed hair. When I use Pureology I know that I am getting the best possible results for my hair. I like to wash my hair every day and I am not worried about shampoo build up with Pureology. It leaves my hair feeling full, nourished and soft. My husband also uses Pureology's shampoo, conditioner combination for men. It has a minty scent and he loves it. I love Pureology and I would highly recommend it to anyone with any type of hair. It is a little more expensive than grocery store shampoo, but the quality is 100% better and it is worth the extra cost. Effectiveness Pureology super smooth shampoo is great for my hair. My hairdresser recommended it because I have straight, thin, dyed hair. Scent I love Pureology's scents. I have tried several of their products and have loved every scent. I really like the mint shampoo that I just purchased.

My salon stylist cousin suggested I buy this.  So, I did.  I also tried another couple smoothing shampoos. This is what I found out: I personally have too many cons with this item to buy it again.  It was way too expensive.  It was way too fragrant.  And it barely worked better than products I could get at a regular store.  It is a salon product so I'm sure its better for your hair, but I cannot handle that much fragrance and expense.  Great otherwise.  For anyone who loves smell and is willing to pay for salon quality, they'd love it though!  Remember though, these bottles are quite small and therefore do not have alot of product in them, either.  So you are paying alot for a little amount.  Personally, I am going to stick with my old smoothing shampoo set.  This one was too good to be true for me.  But atleast I tried it.  You have to try things in order to make your own opinions out of them.

I use to only use Pantene shampoo because I thought it was the best of the regular grocery store shampoos and that salon shampoos couldn't be that much better for the price. Well one day I was having a facial and my esthetician  pulled my hair back and told me it was really dry which I thought was weird since I have always had oily skin. She gave me a travel set of Pureology shampoo as a gift since I was going on a cruise and I have never used anything else since. My hair is so much healthier now that I use Pureology. I discovered the Super Straight Pureology about a year ago and my hair is definitely way less frizzy when I use it, especially in the summer time. I use the shampoo and the conditioner. The funny thing is, I think it also helps my hair hold curl when I hot roll it but with less frizz. I normally would never check the "willing to pay for quality" box in the "tell about yourself section" but in this case I am willing to pay a little extra for the quality.

Pureology SuperStraight Shampoo works wonders on my long, thick, coarse hair.  It eliminates the majority of the frizz when combined with the Pureology SuperStraight conditioner and leaves my hair clean and fresh smelling, ready for styling.  My hair combs out easily after I shampoo and condition it, and it doesn't seem to leave any harsh build up.  This product is both sulfate and salt free.  It also moisturizes my hair after each wash as well.  The product claims to maintain hair color for color treated hair.  I have some highlights that are a couple of years old, so I can't really comment on that.  I also like it because it is 100% vegan and has not been tested on animals.  This product is expensive, but the 33.8 ounce size lasts me for quite a few months.  My hair styles easier after a shampoo, and even looks okay if I do not have the time to style it.  Overall, I highly recommend this product to everyone!!
