I am one of those people who finds a razor, soap, shampoo, shaving cream...and basically sticks with it. However, I received this in my Christmas stocking this year and in an effort to save money I thought I would hang on to it and try it.HUGE mistake. This must be a very cheap product. It wasn't gel like what I am used to, more like an instant shaving foam. I jsut didnt feel like my skin was getting much protection or lathering when I put it on to shave. I started shaving and right away I could feel my razor buring my leg. It just wasnt gliding smoothly over my legs like it normally does with my regular shaving gel. I even attempted to continue using it nad mixing it with a small amount of my shaving gel....however, it still left my legs very red and itchy and my underarms were very irritated. I will be going back to my usual shaving gel and this met the bottom of my trash can.

Pure Silk Moisture Shave Cream with Aloe is one of my favorite products.  It glides on the skin, the razor slides along the leg or underarms smoothly and it leaves the skin soft and silky.  Another plus, is you have to use very little to get a rich lather so it is very cost effective.   I have never had a nick since using it which is a definite plus. I love the fact that the bottom of the container is rust-proof so you can leave it in the shower and tub with no chance of an insightly (and difficult to remove) ring.  It comes in many different scents so you can pick your favorite.  It is easily found in most drug stores and mass market stores and is relatively inexpensive.  I came upon it by accident as I had a coupon and was delighted with both the price and the product.  It is often on special so I stock up and use a coupon to really bring the price down.  I would strongly recommend giving it a try!

I was just recently able to try out and finish off a 9.5 oz can of Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream for Women and I would like to comment on what I liked and disliked about this particular product. To tell you the truth, there is really not much to dislike about this product and I can say that this is definitely a fine enough shaving cream, at least for my needs. - The Raspberry Mist scent is alright, not fantastic, but good enough when it comes to shaving creams. - I have been able to tell that this certain shaving cream gives my legs an extra silkiness (like the brand name sort of suggests... haha) and I was happy to find that I very rarely had to endure razor rash (only once or twice) after using it, like I normally do with other creams when I shave. - Both my legs and my armpits feel great after each shave with this cream.  - The only slightly negative aspect of this product is that it does not entirely prove true to its claims about having a rust-proof. I say this because the area near the top of my can DID rust, but only slightly (not enough to worry about, from what I could tell). So, if you haven't yet tried this brand of shaving cream, I would suggest that you do because I can't imagine that it could damage you in any way and you might even decide that you really like it and it has a nice enough price!

Pure Silk Moisturizing Shave Cream with aloe from the makers of Barbasol is a great shaving cream for the budget-conscious girl!  I love the Raspberry Mist scent!  It has a thick and rich lather that adheres quite nicely to your legs, underarms or wherever you want to shave.  And after you're done shaving, your skin feels soft and smooth. It comes in an easy to hold, easy to use, seamless aluminum can that won't leave rust rings in your shower.  The can is tall and slim so you can easily use it in the shower.  The light Raspberry Mist scent is nice but not overpowering like some shaving cream scents can be. I've tried a lot of new shaving creams but I always keep coming back to Pure Silk Moiturizing Shave Cream.  Shake can well, hold upright and press the top to release a thick lather, not a gel that turns to lather when you rub it in your skin.   And when you're done shaving you can rinse any extra out of the cap without worrying about unsightly, hard to clean rust rings! A great product!!
