This is very good chocolate milk. It has a very rich flavor that is not too sugary. I like that they use 2% milk (rather than skim or 1% milk) to help give it a richer, creamier flavor. It would be even better if they used whole milk. I have noticed recently that they are even offering coupons for their milk, so look out for a coupon to save some money. If you are looking for a rich, smooth drink, this is definitely one to try.

I absolutely love promised land milk and so does my family. Promised Land is our number one milk choice. The midnight chocolate is wonderful. It is creamy and rich and oh so delicious. If you haven't tried promised land milk you don't know what you are missing!

I am absolutely hooked on this milk with the fav being Midnight Chocolate... even at 2%, it is the richest tasting milke I have ever had.  I had been drinking soy and started drnking this when I was bothered with acid reflux.... talk about soothing!  It seemed to just ease the burn on the way down.  I love this stuff... and as an aside, no more acid reflux

**Promised Land Dairy Midnight Chocolate 2% Reduced Fat Milk was so sweet my husband and I were almost unable to drink it. Ii may be low on fat but definately is not low on sugar. A little background...I am a definate chocolate lover and this was too sugary for me. My son finally finished the jug and declared it was the sweetest milk he has ever drank and he dumps tons of powdered chocolate in every glass he fixes on his own. Needless to say, we will not be purchasing this brand again, but if you LOVE overwhelming chocolate sugar flavor this is the one for you! I would not tell friends and family to purchase **Promised Land Dairy Midnight Chocolate 2% Reduced Fat Milk unless they get great coupons and young chocolate fiends to drink it all. I am closing with the warning that just because it is low fat doesn't mean it is healthy for you. Check out all nutritional information before purchasing. The sugar is high.****

I first came across this milk when I lived in Florida, and when I moved to Texas, I noticed that Promised Land Dairy products are much more ubiquitous in the Lons Star State, as this is where the company is based. There used to be quotations from scripture on the label, but apparently they removed them so as not to alienate non-Christian milk drinkers. While not organic, Promised Land offers a superior brand of milk, which comes exclusively from Jersey cows. They offer several different varieties of flavored milk, including Strawberry, Blueberry, Vanilla, and their awesome Midnight Chocolate. I use the Midnight Chocolate 2% Reduced Fat Milk as the creamer in my iced coffee, and it is totally addictive. It's hard to believe this stuff is only 2%, as it's creamier than some brands of whole milk I've had. And while it is "reduced fat," that doesn't mean it's low-calorie by any means. An 8-ounce cup of this stuff is 170 calories and contains 25 grams of sugar. Who cares? This stuff is awesome.
