I bought the Prince Lionheart bebePod Seat for my infant over a year ago. We used it for several months while she was learning to sit on her own. I really enjoyed this product, as it allowed her to sit on her own and feel like she was part of the rest of the world. It also gave me a chance to free up my hands a little. I always had myself or another adult sitting right next to her at all times, as this product is not intended for a child to be left alone in. The only thing I don't like about this product is the very strong chemical odor that it emitted from the moment we took it out of the package. I washed it several times with soap and water, and it still had a chemical smell to it. This bothered me a great deal, because I try very hard to raise my children with as little chemicals as possible. I would most likely recommend this product to a friend, but I would first warn them about the chemical smell and would encourage them to wipe it off before using it. Sturdiness I felt secure having my infant sit in this (under adult supervision, of course) Durability Lasted through several months of use and trips to visit family Design I like the overall design of it, but I do NOT like the smell that it emits. I try to buy natural products for my baby, and this chemical type smell does not fit this. Safety The only use that I can recommend this product for is for having your infant sit up while you sit next to him or her. I would never recommend it for use in the bath-tub or at the table, as that is not what this product is intended for. Ease of Cleaning Can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth

the prince lionheart bebe pod was purchased used online, but i bought the one that was the plus version, this included a tray that snapped in and a toy that snapped onto the tray and 2 placemats. my daughter was 4 months when we began using this prooduct. the kiwi color is a perfect neutral one that can be used for either boys or girls and can be used with multiple pregnancies. the quality of the item is 100%. it is soft enough to provide comfort and not hurt their little tush's but its  hard enough to provide adequate support and wont fold over, sink over time, or easily tear. the tray that came was plastic, not sure if it was bpa free, but i doubt kids would put it into their mouths, so it shuld be fine. it was not too think or as heavy as a  highchair tray, but its perfect for putting books or toys on top of. i really love this item because it is lkight enough to carry to people's homes so baby has someplace to sit. also great for travelling so baby can use this as a highchair. Sturdiness Great until baby knows how to use their legs to push up and back, potentially toppling backwards if not seated against a wall or sofa Durability The quality of the materials used are great, it lasts months Nd months while still looking and feeling new. It doesn't dip in the seat area and it doesn't stain. Design I would give this a 3.5 stars because I find it is a short lived item ESP if ur child is above the charts in ht and wt. in fact I never used it for my son bc he was too fat while he was young to fit in comfortably. It would have lasted me maybe a month with him, but lasted my daughter a good five six months, Safety Again, just be sure not to put inaam top of a table chair counter or sofa...baby can unexpectedly push up and topple Ease of Cleaning Wipes clean easily. My son trys to sit up on his own and with the Bebe pod he feels like a big boy. A friend of mine actual told me about it and I am glad she did. This product was not out with my 1st child. I totaly recomend it. The price might be a bit high but I think its worth it. if its not one some ones registry I still think it would make a great gift for a new mom or one with other kids.

I got this product to help my daughter sit up better when she was about 4 months old.  She could hold her head up and liked being propped up, so I splurged and go this for her.  I'm glad that I did, because she really enjoyed sitting in it, but it does have some downfalls:-it can only be used for a relatively short period of time (my daughter was sitting on her own within two months of getting this product) -it tips over backwards pretty easily when baby get bigger and more active-the leg openings are not as big as I would have liked then to be, and the thing in the middle (whatever they call it) makes it difficult to get baby in and out of the seat-it had a strange plastic-y smell when I first got it, but that dissipated after a few days.Despite all these things, I really am glad that I got it.  If I could do it over, though, I would get a used one, or maybe a different brand with wider leg openings.  I see the new models have trays on them, that would be useful too.  It did help my daughter learn to pick things up, she could reach toys that she dropped because she was only a couple inches off the floor.

I bought the Prince Lionheart BebePod seat and really love it. I really like to use this item and it works very well. I have used my Bebepod from the time my baby was 3 months and now have passed it down to my new baby. I love that you can use it as a seat to help them sit upright, but you can also use it as a feeding table or play table. The seat comes with a tray that is very easy to take on and off. I purchased a red Bebepod and it was really cute because it came with a watermelon place mat. I thought it was super adorable. The placemat is even reversible to a different design on the back. The Bebepod also came with a wheely toy which connects easily to the tray. This toy is great and keeps baby entertained for a long time. I really like that the Bebepod is stable and keeps my baby safe. The leg openings fit my baby very well and I have never had any issues at all regarding my Bebepod. I will definitely keep using it for our future children.

This was one of the first things I registered for when I was pregnant.  One of my friends had one and loved it!  I did not get a lot off of my registry other than clothes, but one of my friends who has a 2 year old bought this for me because she said it was one of the best things she ever had.  She would have given me her old one, but they still use it from time to time (with her 2 year old!). My 4 month son loves to sit in it.  We put him in it in front of the mirror and he likes to look at himself and smile at himself.  It is extremely cute to watch!  Sometimes when he is fussy, we will put him in the booster and he will quiet down and be very content.  He will sit there for a good amount of time and just look around at the things around him. I love that it comes with a tray to use once he starts eating food.  I know we will get lots of use out of it then! This is a great product that is roomy and can really be used for a long period of time.  it is an investment worth getting!!

We used the Prince Lionheart bebePod with our daughter when she was learning to sit up.  It was such a great find for us!  Our daughter was trying to sit up on her own, but we really didn't have anything that helped her.  Her swing reclined too far and was not adjustable.  Her bouncy seat had the same problem.  Whenever I put her down in one or the other I felt bad because she would try to sit upright, but couldn't since her seats were designed for a more reclined position.  I was so happy to find this seat on sale!  She loved sitting next to me, watching everything that I did.  We used the seat for meals and for sitting outside.  She loved to sit outside next to us while we worked in the flower beds.  It was a lifesaver at the grandparents' houses, too.  We were able to just toss it in the car and use it at mealtimes instead of a highchair.  It takes up so little space, it's perfect for travel, especially when you're going places where there may not be highchairs available.  She did outgrow it pretty quickly.   We enjoyed using very much, so it was definitely worth what we paid for it.

The bebe pod is the perfect seat for my little ones! Both my daughters were able to hold their heads up early so they sat great in the bebe pod early on. The foam of the seat held their lower bodies in place and they only needed to hold their upper bodies which seemed to strengthen their upper halves faster than they normally would strengthen. My first daughter was sitting up for short periods unassisted before four months and I credit her bebe pod for doing that. My second daughter is also showing signs of early unassisted sitting, also before four months. I really loved the tray that came with mine. It was perfect to use instead of a high chair and we bring it every where with us because you never know when a place won't have a high chair. The only gripe I have with this item is that it's sometimes hard to get food off the bebe pod. Sometimes I scrub and scrub and the food still sticks to it.

This is a good little seat to help your baby sit up.  With my daughter, it didn't work well for us until AFTER she had already learned to sit on her own, then she could control her body more in this seat.  My friend has the Bumbo seat, and it has a thicker padding which helps hold her baby up more.  That would have been great for my daughter before she knew how to sit up on her own.  In the Bebe Pod by Prince Lionheart, she was kind of sliding around a little and would lean off to one side because there wasn't enough material to hug her body, even at 6 months old. I like the colors offered and the pod tray.  The accessories are great, but I don't know that I would purchase this again, or recommend it to a friend over other similar products on the market that seem to be a bit better and higher quality.  I bought this used online, so I didn't pay full price and I'm glad about that.  It works well for us now at almost 8 months old, so we've gotten our money's worth from it.

I registered for this Bebepod and received it as a shower gift. I had heard great things about it and the Bumbo seat as well. I picked this brand because it came with a tray. My older son loved it as a baby. He would sit in it and play and be content. I also used it before the high chair, because it was more supportive. I fed my son his rice cereal and oatmeal in it. With him, I thought it was a great product! My younger son, however, doesn't use it much. For one, he has chunky little thighs and I don't think this seat is made for bigger babies. He is also squirmy--like super squirmy. He is constantly trying to wriggle out of it. I lent it to my sister in law and my neice didn't like it either. I would really suggest borrowing one of these to see if your baby likes it before you shell out all the cash, or save the receipt if you get one as a gift. It's an expensive product to buy if it's not going to be used.
