I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS BUT PRIME SHUTTLE IS AWFUL

1

I'm not usually big on service, meaning: I'm easy to please - not too picky. Me and my husband were flying out of LAX and PRIME SHUTTLE picked us up at our house. Do you think the guy even said "hello"? NOPE! The driver just got out grabbed our bags and literally DID NOT SAY A WORD TO US. I thought it was kind of weird but then said "whatever". So we're driving along and I'm freezing. Bozo driver has both windows all the way down and it's coming right in our face. Do you think he bothered to see if it was too much? NOPE! Then we stop to pick up some other guy along the way and while we are waiting in the van - the PRIME TIME SHUTTLE DRIVER makes a phone call to place bets! Yes, the dude is sitting right there with us behind him placing bets on sports teams.  Moving on...when we came back to LAX after our trip, the flight was late due to technical difficulties. It made us an hour late, but we made sure to call PRIME TIME SHUTTLE to give them the update well in advance. Do you think there was a shuttle waiting for us when we got back? No, of course not. Maybe 30 minutes later? No - not even then. Try and hour - NOPE NO SHUTTLE. And I kid you not, about 8 or 9 EMPTY PRIME TIME SHUTTLE BUSES passed us by even after their shuttle attendant told them we needed a ride to Sun Valley, they just gave us looks like " no way" and kept on cruising...with their empty shuttles. But yet there was a man who was walking aimlessly and they asked him where he was going (I forget where) and he handed them some cash and they ushered him right in. I tried to get a refund or discount of some sort and they said it wasn't their "policy".  Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE this sorry excuse for a "shuttle service"

Unethical business practices

My experience with Prime Time Shuttle out of LAX was terrible. I was quoted one fare by their agent at LAX only to be told by the driver upon dropping me off that he needed more money for the fare AND a mandatory tip turning a $24 fare into $40. Calls to Prime Time customer service resuled in several excuses but nothing else. Travellers, my recommendation is to AVOID this company at all costs. There are other options at LAX.

I have used Prime Time several times. I am a frequently flyer out of LAX and I always use them to and from the airport. I have had no problems everything has gone good every time. They are also very convenient and have sufficient prices.

I will never ever use Primetime shuttle again. They were 30 mins late I was told at 2:20am then arrived 2:59am and when I have communicated this to them via email and phone they have been rude and refuse yes refuse to listen or even refund my money. All because they say that sent an automated call to my cell phone at 1am. I told them to guarantee 100% that I received that call. Automated means nothing put a real agent on the phone and make sure I get the call that you are running late I am on my way to the airport you know. I called while waiting outside for them to pick me up and the agent not once indicated that they were going to be late in matter of fact she apologized and said would find the driver for me. I even sent an email at 2:45am while waiting and heard nothing. BUY BEWARE they guarantee nothing. NEVER WILL I USE PRIME TIME.

Please do yourselves a favor ----- DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!  they are completely unreliable.  20 minutes late to pick me up on one of the most busy flying days of the year.  when I pointed out to the driver that he was twenty minutes late, he nodded his head and laughed and said there was a "misunderstanding" but never once did he offer an apology.  He took every wrong turn at the airport further compounding his tardiness.  He actually thought he was going to get a gratuity!  Ebola would have been too good for him.  I called customer service to find out where my driver was and she was upset that I was irate so she simply hung up on me and refused to take any further calls from me!  These people deserve to go out of business and starve.  They are not serious about mission accomplishment.   I am not sure whether it is arrogance or ignorance that guides their modus operandi but they should wind up their business and get jobs as the late night shift at Dennys or Ihop.

PrimeTime Shuttle STINKS never picked up at my home! UNRELIABLE

PrimeTime failed to arrive at our home in Orange Co., CA to shuttle us to LAX. After they were very late, I called. They said they'd called us during the night to cancel our reservations because they had no other passenger pickups in our area. They said, "You didn't answer your phone." Astonishing! Certainly, I didn't answer my phone in the middle of the night, it was the "middle of the night!" Before going to bed, I'd called them to verify our pickup once again. At 11:30 p.m. Primetime's dispatcher said, "Yes, we will pick you up at 7:35 a.m. for LAX, confirmed." We missed our flight at LAX. We missed our connection in NY for Europe. We missed our cruise departure. We paid a fortune for another flight to join our cruise at the next port in Europe. Oh, and the operator hung up on me when I called to find out 'why' they were so late! It is all my fault, actually. They'd been very late to get me several years ago, the first time I utilized their services, but I tried them a second time. BEWARE! NEVER USE PRIMETIME SHUTTLE. May I please suggest Super Shuttle for the Orange County/LAX market.

Don't use them!

I will never use Prime Time shuttle again! There were five of us going to LAX from Simi and I booked a private van (their regular shuttle vehicle but it doesn't pick up anyone else). The trip to LAX was fine, but on our return flight we got in at 4 am Sunday (on schedule). I called for our van at 4:32 am and was told to go to the center divider and the van would be there in 10 minutes. A half hour later, no van. I called again and they hung up on me. About then the guy who stands on the center divider and calls for shuttles came to work (at was about 5 am at that point). I spoke to him, he called the dispatcher, and he told me our van was on its way. To make a long story short, we didn't get our van until 6:30 am -- a two hour wait with a small child in the cold. When I called customer service on Monday morning I was treated very rudely. The person actually asked why I didn't make other arrangements after we had waited for 1/2 hour! You try making other arrangements at 5 am on a Sunday! I asked why our private van was not available and her response was that we didn't really have a van reserved for us, we just got the next one available. So why make a reservation? They have promised me a refund -- we'll see

Flying to LAX was only the first part of my journey to visit my cousin Mel and her husband who live in Eagle Rock, a Los Angeles suburb.  I knew It would be easier for us all to spare them the hassle of coming to pick me up at the airport so, after some careful research, I contacted *Prime Time Shuttle* which is a member of GroundNet, "*the nation's largest network of quality shared ride airport transportation companies*."  I made two reservations with Prime Time, one for the trip from LAX to the Comfort Inn in Eagle Rock and one for seven days later, to pick me up at the motel and return me to LAX in preparation for my return flight to Chicago.  (I gave Prime Time the numbers of my flights so that they could keep track of them, especially the flrst flight from Chicago to L.A.  By keeping track of my flight, they would know if there was a delay and would time their own arrival at the airport accordingly.  Prime Time offers a half hour of waiting for a late arrival to be "free" before they begin to charge for their time.) I found the shuttle pick-up zone where my luggage miraculously was waiting for me.  **(GOOD JOB, UNITED!)**  Before long, the immaculate bright red Prime Time shuttle arrived.  The cost for my seat in this shared-service van was $25 and I got my money's worth.  Several other people were riding with me and the driver told me apologetically that -- because of our respective destinations -- I would be the last person to be delivered.  **What a great deal!**  For only $25, I got to see dozens of blocks of Los Angeles.  I had always expected it to be "*underneath all that tinsel, more tinsel*" but this isn't what I was seeing that day.  What a great city!  One street especially I will never forget -- on one side it was all magnificent old Victorians and on the other a spectacular modern cityscape.  I got to see the old Hotel Biltmore and many other landmarks.  One of our passengers had to be taken to the Greyhound station so I even got to see the "Barrio" and also the great open air fabric and garment district.  These were all parts of town which I would have never gotten a look at if it hadn't been for my driver, a native Angeleno who seemed to get a kick out of my eager rubber-necking and curiosity.  As he warmed to the occasion, he treated me to a running commentary of what he knew about his favorite city and what he knew was a priceless store of information. Seven days later, exactly at the appointed hour, another Prime Time Shuttle driver picked me up at the Comfort Inn in Eagle Rock and ferried me back to LAX for the return flight.  There were no sightseeing detours this time -- the other passengers and I arrived in plenty of time for our flights and with nothing but good memories about Los Angeles -- **The Big Orange** -- and Prime Time Shuttle.
