This griddle is amazing! It is absolutely the answer to my breakfast food prayers lol! My whole family loves breakfast food. We eat breakfast for dinner sometimes we love it so much. I have a larger family so cooking bacon in a regular pan takes a while. My biggest problem is always the grease in the pan or in the griddle. I cook up at least a pound of bacon when I cook it, so there's a good amount of grease. The first few pieces always came out great but as grease builds up they cook worse and worse. I would be annoyed and frustrated and sick of getting splattered with huge drops of grease. Enter the a Presto Cool Touch Tilt n Drain Griddle. This griddle is fantastic! I was concerned because it wasn't as big as I was thinking I would need to easily cook on, but the tilt and drain feature totally makes this kitchen gadget! It solves all my grease problems. Ease of Use Getting the tilt down took me a few tries, but once I got it figured out it's fantastic!

I purchased the Presto Cool Touch Tilt'nDrain Griddle 07045 intending to use it to make breakfast and simple dishes. The aluminum coating was not as thick as I expected it to be. As such, it warps at high temperatures; when I heated the grill past 450 degrees, I found that one of the supporting legs would lift off the surface of my counter. There are some hot spots as well. My pancakes have come out striped due to uneven heating. There are huge differences in heating from one part of the grill to the other. One nice aspect is that there is a raised edge around the grill to prevent any food from falling off the grill. This has come in pretty useful. I have used this grill to make fajitas, fry bacon, and cook stir-fry and have had no problems doing so. This grill was pretty fairly priced and I have enjoyed using it, but I would recommend looking for a higher quality, more expensive grill.

You can cook a complete breakfast on this griddle at one time, or fill it with hashbrowns, then make eggs and pancakes afterward. This griddle has changed breakfast from "no way" to "okay"! The non-stick part actually works, heats pretty evenly, a little hotter on the corners than in the center, and the grease catch is great. My only complaint with it is how hard it is to wash. Performance Works great! I love it for cooking hash browns, it makes it so easy to do. And eggs, over easy or scrambled, or both, all at one time! Durability I've had mine for well over a year and still works just like it did when new. Be sure to use wooden or nylon utensils, never metal, to keep from scratching the non-stick surface. Ease of Cleaning It is pretty difficult to clean, but manageable. The ends pull out to tilt and drain, this makes it hard to hold onto during the washing and rinsing. Ease of Use It is very easy to use! Just add a touch of oil for flavor, and it is ready to go. The drip tray catches extra grease, making it easier to dispose of.

We have owned this griddle for 3 years now and love it. We originally bought this to primarily cook or pancakes on, but have since used it for many other items as well. The size of the griddle is especially nice. It fits much more than a standard griddle, making it easy to get pancakes out for my family of 5 much quicker. I also love making quesadillas on the griddle. Again the size of the griddle is a big plus, allowing me to fit six flour tortillas (folded in half) at one time. Another great feature of this griddle is the tilt and drain feature. It works perfectly when I cook bacon, hamburgers and even steak for all the grease to drain away from the meat. The only slight down side of this griddle is due to the size it can make it difficult to clean in a sink, but it is well worth this slight irritation. I love this griddle and should anything ever happen to it I am sure I would look to replace it with the same model.

Our family of 8 uses this at least once a week. We love that it can cook so much on one surface. It frees up the stove, and allows us to eat as a family because it cooks so much at a time. The pictures and descriptions are not misleading; the griddle really will hold 9 good size pancakes. It washes easily, and that makes a big difference. I can allow my 10 year old to clean it without fear of her ruining it, because it's allowed to be submersed in water. Performance It heats up quickly, and allows for cooking a large amount of food. Durability This griddle has held up with a lot of use; we have had it for 3 years, and it's still going strong. We love it. Ease of Use Super Easy to use with the tilt it allows for the grease to flow off and not sit.

I've had griddles before and always hated how everything sat in grease even after scrapping it off. With this all you have to pull out the sides so it's slightly tilted when your cooking and poof good by greasy food! I use this several times a week. It makes cooking family breakfast fast and easy. It heats up quick and gets the job done in no time at all. The easy clean-up makes this griddle even better! I recommend this to anyone with a family. I find it so much better to use than the stove top!

I use this griddle for pancakes toasted cheese sandwiches bacon Performance It works and works as if it were brand new. Durability It takes a beating and keeps going. Ease of Cleaning I have to be careful not to scratch the teflon surface. When I use cooking spray it makes the griddle difficult to clean. It works much better with melted bitter. Ease of Use I preheat the griddle put a pat of butter to melt and it's ready to cook.

I have really fallen in love with our Presto Griddle. Growing up I never had any kind of griddle-either one to use on the stove or a separate unit such as this one, so when my husband suggested getting a griddle, I wasn't sure that we would have enough use for it. Boy was I wrong! We frequently use this product (probably every other week on average) to make pancakes and english muffins! When researching products, I was concerned about being disappointed with hot/cold zones on a griddle, but so far I have not had such a problem with my griddle. To be honest, we do not use the tilt/drain feature on this griddle, so I can't weigh in on that part. The large cooking surface is great, and I just love the ability to specifically control the temperature to my needs. A great product!

The Tilt'nDrain Griddle is a high quality and effective way to cook. It's got great capacity, making it possible to cook pancakes, sausages and other things at the same time. I'd recommend it to anyone, but particularly families. It's fun for special breakfasts and holidays and things. My family doesn't do a lot of breakfast grilling other than these times, so I guess I haven't had a chance to test it's meddle over a long period of time with sustained use. But it seems to be holding up well and is a great product. We've used a lot of Presto products over the years--I believe our old popcorn popper was a Presto and it lasted us a couple decades. If you like to grill but hate the mess, try the Tilt'nDrain Griddle today.

I am very happy my griddle. I have used it to make pancakes. Let me just say that they were slidding around on the grill and I didn't use any Pam. I have also used it to make 4 big hamburgers and 3 chicken breasts at the same time. Since it has the tilt function I put the burgers on the bottom and my chicken didn't absorb any grease. For the first time ever I was able to eat breakfast with my family at the same time because of the LARGE cooking surface. Can not complain.
